Jake Bauers pinch hitting for Brewers on Opening Day. He just doubled off the Mets in the seventh inning and scored two batters later.

Royce Lewis to IL
Nick Senzel to IL
Sean Murphy to IL
Adam Miller to IL
Grady Sizemore to IL
Steve Hargan to IL

go figger

You thought owners played hardball with cities ... this probably isn't going to end well (mutual agreement - $97 mill demanded by city vs $17 mill offered from team vs $1.5 million currently being paid)

They’re hoping the stadium is done by 2028?! Are the zombie A’s gonna be here for 3 more seasons?

The return for Sean Murphy... Wonder if Oakland wants to undo this one... LOL.

I wonder if MLB would consider using the A's as a 'trial run team' for various target expansion cities (Vegas/ Nashville/ Charlotte/ Mexico City/ Montreal/ Portland) over the next 3 years...

There's some interesting theories about why he was sent out....

Dude had a 1.200 something OPS to open the year. Was he sent down for trying to hard?

Estury Ruiz and Brent Rooker wore bracelets made by Last Dive Bar that protest A’s ownership… so then yesterday Ruiz was sent down and Rooker benched.
So being told he needs to learn to get on base more was just a euphemism for get on board with ownership? That's hella petty if that is the reasoning. Sadly, it makes more sense than their bullshit reasoning. How is he supposed to learn how to get on base more at the bigleague level by leading off in AAA? It's just moronic. Reminds me of when John Farrell tried to bury Brandon Phillips for smiling too much.

As have the worst ownership in MLB, bar none.
