I doubt he ever gets a team back to the Finals. I'm not sure he'll ever get one to the conference Finals.

Same with Thibs. They limit their own roster. Alec Burks is a guy who definitely could have helped them win that game with just a 10 minute spell for Hart.

Burks has been complete dogshit since the trade. I agree the 7 man rotation is not the best move but Burks is not the answer. I was happy when he was brought back but the more he played the more I yelled at Thibs to get him the fuck off the floor. The dude is a black hole once he gets the ball. He doesn't pass it, he has one thing on his mind once he touches it and he has shot 30% since the trade.

I don't need a Burks history. I promise you I know who the guy is. But again, he has been complete ass since the trade. This isn't just a cold spell, he has been downright awful. Yes, Thibs hands are kind of tied with all these injuries and he may not have a choice but to put Burks in for a couple of minutes but that is all he would get if it's me. He has been bad bad since the trade.

And as for the first 60 games with Detroit, he shot under 40% while there also.

I might also add his defense has not been good while playing either.

Also frees Mobley and JA [hopefully] up abit to guard Brown or Tatum.
