Do Not Sell My Personal Information
What did you not understand? When you go to games rocchio is talking to vets, checking iPad and trying to learn go watch what arias does. He doesn’t show a desire to get better. Saw it Arizona when I watched some spring games and saw it last year when I sat next to the dugout. He’s got a strong arm but not a lot between the ears

There is just so much wrong with this and I just don't have the energy to explain everything wrong with it tonight.

But to keep it short, there was a player last year who mentally quit and separated himself from the rest of the clubhouse towards the end of the season last year, including the vets, and it wasn't the "cocky, lazy, not a lot between the ears" player.

Regardless.... Rocchio is settling into the starting SS spot and #9 hitter.

I suggest we all get used to it.

the best thing that Arias can do is TAG one..

None of this is on Arias. He shouldn't be out in center. He has no chance out there.

This is strictly on Vogt.

Florial is not a CF.
Yeah, Vogt had a really bad night. Terrible line-up. And it sounds like Hosey and the Naylors need some rest. If Hosey and Josh aren’t hitting, we are in for a difficult stretch.

Come talk to me when his slugging % is higher than the weight of the average NFL DT.

Oh shit, he really got a hold of that one.

Arias has played 6 or 7 different positions this year and never complained or made a peep. He is not emotive, and doesn’t talk shit. How does that make him cocky and unwilling to learn?

If he was cocky and unwilling to learn he wouldn’t have become a solid RF or 1B and he wouldn’t be willing to move all over the diamond. You don’t think he’s asking questions from the coaching staff or management and is just trying to play all these new positions on instinct?

Slugging % is a stat used for hitters 3-6.....all that matters is he puts up good ABs, takes his BBs, leads the team in SBs, and keeps the jock clean.

Will be interesting how things go if Jose and Josh continue to slump. The bottom of the order is looking mighty 2023ish.

Relying awfully heavy on the bullpen being lights out every single night.
