They had JRam at DH today. So the option of playing Arias at 3rd vs Rocchio there is what I was referring to.

Boston came in with a team ERA of 2.44, best in the majors. Guardians got 21 runs in four games. However, seven Guardians runs were unearned; five due to errors and two to ghost runners. The Red Sox infield defense was very bad. The guy in right field, Abreu, he was good.

So 14 earned runs in four games is not great, but the pitching was good enough for three wins. The Guardians allowed 12 earned runs in 37 innings for a 2.92 ERA.

Most importantly, the starters. Curry threw five shutout innings. The other minor league call-up, Ben Lively, threw five innings allowing two earned runs. Bibee allowed one run in five innings and Carrasco two runs in 5.2 innings. That's a 2.18 ERA for the starters. And two of them aren't even in the rotation! One of them is already back in Columbus!

What a great series for the Guardians. Their confidence has got to be sky high right now.
