Haven't heard anything ... BCH may know something. Yet, as he wasn't in a MLB ST game, it is either one of two things (1) has an injury and is at extended spring training or he is in the process of being released (but haven't even seen an official list of guys who didn't make it out of spring yet). Even if injured, there really isn't room on the rosters for an extra OFer. There are others like Holmes that didn't make a full season league either ... so it doesn't look too good for many. There should be a list of guys being released at some point.

Brooks actually played a fair amount of 1B and didn't look bad in 21... It's just weird I haven't seen anything on him...

Ike is a depth piece that has played every single INF position... Don't worry they will get all main prospects in, but you still gotta have guys who fill in the backup roles...

They are just having placeholder for Jones/Freeman/Morris/Plink/Morgan when things get back to normal in May. They don't want to promote our top prospects and then send them down in a few weeks. Keep those guys in Akron to be comfortable till there is room in Columbus/Cleveland (maybe sooner than they planned).

Naylor appears to be hitting with a much more open stance this year. I wonder why and if it's helping him. So far his numbers have been encouraging but I'd like to see a little pop at some point just to know he has it in him, in his physical state.

His right leg or leading leg in the batters box was what was severely injured. By opening his right foot, he reduces the torque on the lower leg when following the bat around during a normal swing.. It's a means of compensation for lack of torsional flexibility..

Or he thinks he looks cooler with an open stance....

As long as he gets more hits, I don't care if his power isn't there just yet

Naylor has never really displayed much power to begin with so I wouldn't be expecting an explosion of it now.

I just wanna see good swings and good contact from him this season. He just needs that and the confidence. Once he is farther away from the injury, then I'll be curious to see if he can add more power or not...

Benson had a good week it looks wise stat wise...

Leader in ABs has been Fry, who is a C/1B/3B, but spent the week playing 1B... He is someone I am going to keep an eye on especially if Bradley struggles...
