Andra Davis resigns...

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Is Teddy Bruschi an average LB? Really? He plays with intensity and ferocity... he gets to the ball and creates turnovers... I doubt he's just a product of the system, he has much individual talent and is definitely not average.

you are so dumb.

"did i see the name Ray Lewis in the same sentence as Andra Davis?" i wonder what the heck you are trying to say their...

than you compare davis to donnie edwards, "much less Ray's" i once again wonder what the heck you are trying to say...

its not complicated bro, or can you not read between the lines.

i said that lewis would not be the great player that he is today if he played in our defense, what is so hard to understand. its not complicated. dumbass. ;)

Exactly my point... You are basically saying he is a product of the system...

Ray would be just as good... He is Ray Lewis... Perhaps the defense as a whole would not be..

Just because he had Sam Adams, the goose, and Boulware does not mean they are the reason he is what he is...

What a dumb thing to say.... I'm sure L.T was only the greatest of all time because of Pepper Johnson and Carl Banks ;)

THIS IS WHAT I'M SAYING, SO READ CAREFULLY :

"RAY LEWIS WOULD HAVE BEEN JUST AS GOOD IN HIS CAREER NO MATTER WHERE HE WAS"

HE MADE BOULWARE A PRO BOWLER AND THAT DEFENSE AROUND HIM BETTER...IF HE WAS A BROWN ? HE WOULD HAVE BEEN JUST AS DOMINANT...AND QUITE POSSIBLY, THE PLAYERS AROUND HIM WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER..

DRA' WOULD NOT DO ANYTHING DIFFERENT IN B-MORE THEN HE HAS HERE...HE IS WHAT HE IS (AVERAGE) RAY IS WHAT HE IS (ONE OF THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME)

THAT IS WHAT I'M SAYING....I HOPE IT WAS CLEAR... THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME :chuckles:

I think Ray would...he is a monster. He plays on a very good team and that helps, but great LBs will be great LBs regardless of the system.

Now avg LBs and be good LBs in a system, ie. Teddy B in NE, Cowart when he was in Buff, Sharper in Balti...etc..etc..
THANK YOU...Exactly...

Yes, Bill B. made Mcginest (a converted DE), Vrabel, and Bruschi very good line backers...

You never heard of any of these guys before he got there (except Willie, who was a top 5 pick in 93 or 94)...

OK PIPP WHAT DONT YOU UNDERSTAND, I SAID LEWIS WOULD NOT BE AS GOOD YET YOU CANNOT COMPREHEND THIS. WHY IS THIS. IT DOESNT EVEN MATTER BECASUE HES NEVER GOING TO BE A BROWN.

ok guy

on a side note ben taylor would never be good in any system, even in the steel curtain.

We can just say this...

I'm right, you're wrong... Nothing different there...

The more things change, the more they stay the same... I'm superior..

and your sister has big oven mitts.

Her problem, not mine...

1. Cali, controll urself outside of OT.

2. Ray Lewis is WAY OVERRATED! The play can be nearly over (the player is tackled, but the wistle hasn't blown yet), and Ray Ray will just jump on the pile and be credited for a tackle. HALF his tackles are fake!

3. Sure, Ray can be a playmaker, but his bread and butter were when he was getting those 20+ tackle nights. And like I said before, only HALF should even be considered his! PLUS, I can't stand it when RAY RAY gets up and celebrates for a fake tackle.

4. Davis is very good, but not a playmaker. When Davis gets his 20+ games, it is because he was the one making them, and not just jumping on the pile.

5. I'd rather have 4 Andra Davis', than 4 Ray Lewis'. For one, Andra is a Blue Collor player. If our team was filled with players like him, we'd be in the playoffs. Second, I couldn't stand watching 4 Ray Lewis' on the field celebrating. I'd probably shoot myself.....or the TV! Plus, Suggs in now doing the dance too!

6. Ray's dance is like a retarded ballerina on crack!

Ill take four Ray Lewis's any day of the week...that would be the best LB core in the history of football.

He doesnt get credit for jumping on the pile, you only get a credited tackle if A, you take him down, or B, some guy has a hold of him but it takes two of you to take him down.

I dont like how much he parades around as much as the next guy, but his talent is so much higher than the most LBs, even now when he is getting older, he is still up there in talent.

I wish we still had Jamir Miller, he was my fav player....some of the young bucks would love him. You would have saw what a real LB is like, that is why people hope Chaun can develope because he can be just like Jamir. Just not as big, but faster.

He doesnt get credit for jumping on the pile

Dude, YES HE DOES! This crap actually became national news. Expecially even when SI called out Ray Lewis and the Stat Keepers of Baltimore! Yahoo Sports did the same thing. Somebody I forget from ESPN said the same thing. They all bitched that Ray Lewis is credited WAY too many tackles!

Go look at some of his old games. Before watch, go back and find out how many tackles he was rewarded. THEN go back and watch the real game. And keep track of how many tackles u would rightfully award him. NOW go and compare what u would give him and what he actually got! (Make sure you watch a game played in Balitmore. You will see how rediculous that crap gets!)

No, I would not like 4 Ray Lewis'. Why? Would you want 4 T.O's? No. They demand that the whole Deffense/Offense revolves around them. Heck, 4 Ray Rays would kill eachother before they can get on the field. For one, they would fight before the games over who has the best dance!

A Mac, I respect your beleifs, but this is a subject me and a few have been following for a couple of years now. We have analyzed this crap. And I would have to say that SUNDAY NIGHT ESPN Crew is by far the worse. You know those 3 midgets in the booth? Ya, if it was up to them, RAY RAY would have 40+ tackles a game. They are the biggest RAY LOVERS in the land! They ride his jock everytime The Ravens play on ESPN!

He may get credit for those, but by logic he shouldnt, i dunno, ive never seen those articles.

But as four the TO, Ray Ray comparison, thats two totally different things. Ray is such a smart player, does everything a team asks of him, he would be a defenses dream. He isnt out of control like TO is, however, I would take two TOs as my WRs to. Yes, he may speak his mind, but if everything is cool and he is treated the way he think is right, then he has no problems, ie like last year in Philly.

Ray though has never been anything less than a great team mate.

I dig. I can't really argue with that. Although, I don't like RAy as a person, I like his talents!

His swearing was becoming OTeayor-like! Either I deleted his post, then I would have to delete urs too cause yours would not make sense. OR, I just edited his post to be more friendly.

*Waits for CDT to come out the bushes and complain about power trips*

Cali is a train-wreck waiting to happen...
