Any Anime watchers?

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Reincarnated as a Slime I thought sounded dumb so I never watched it but then I finally did and really enjoyed it.

Enjoyed Dr. Stone a lot as well, I like the concept. Darwin’s Game similar vibe.

I got a list of anime that I’ve started but then the gap of the last season I lose interest and didn’t finish. Haven’t seen the last season of Attack on Titan or My Hero Academia. There are so many animes I just lose track.

Jujutsu Kaisen and Demon Slayer are amazing.

Samurai Champloo is so dope. I don’t know why I don’t like Cowboy Bebop as much I need to rewatch it. Really freaking love Afro Samurai.

Not into horror or gorey stuff, yet Beserk was satisfying at times. Hellsing I thought was great. Death Note was well done.

Sword Art has a special place in my heart because it started me on anime basically. Hunter Hunter was soon after which I thought was conceptually one of my favs. Seven Deadly Sins is a fun watch to me. Magi too. JoJos I don’t think I’ve seen the last couple season but I got lost in it. Lost on One Piece like 300 some eps in but don’t plan to go back.

Enjoyed YuYu Hakasho for first time couple months back. Thinking about trying Inuyasha.

Loved one punch man and mob psycho. The funniest animes to me I don’t find many that funny.

Erased I liked a lot. And first season of Promised Neverland. Didn’t see second season.

Dota dragons blood I was surprised so thought was amazing if that counts. Vinland saga I need to catch up.

Steins Gate and Full Brother Alchemist are on my watch list. I tried to start them before bed and fell asleep so I just need to give them more focus.

I don’t know what it is, maybe it’s just that there are so many, but I forget the details a lot. Especially when there are months of gaps. Like I remember if I liked something too but I often don’t remember the details of the story lines.

Resuming Boku no Hero Academia is really worth it. Shit is really hitting the fan in this current season. Same with Attack on Titan (I just recently binged the whole ~90 episodes).

But then again, you have masterpieces like Steins Gate or Fullmetal Alchemist on your list still waiting. So just flip a coin or something and start/restart one of those :)

Is there a good place to track when new seasons come out? Crunchyroll has watchlists and fixed their app for PlayStation so that’s nice.

But still it would be cool to have an app or a website that you know when the new seasons come out and where they are released of animes you watch.

Its not a website, but if you set up Sonarr and Torrents, everything can be automated.

Whenever something comes out, it just shows up for me in Plex under recently released.

I'm not sure if this is what you mean, but MyAnimeList has a Seasonal section where you can track what's to come in the Winter (and other seasons): https://myanimelist.net/anime/season

That sounds dope but I haven’t used a computer in like 5 years. Just my phone and PlayStation at this point.

That’s helpful. But it would be nice if someone made an app where you can mark all the animes you watch and then it notifies you when new seasons are about to be released.

For example I watched Tower of God like a year ago and enjoyed it. No idea if there will be another season but I’ll probably forget about it. Or if there is another season by then I probably won’t even know.

Or to make the app even better if it could connect all the major platforms and show you what episode you watched last and at what date.

Like for Vinland Saga it would be like you watched episode 12 on this date on Amazon. Then if I’m on Netflix I’m not confused when they split seasons and it still says season 1.

Crunchyroll has gotten much better but they split their stuff weird too. I can’t tell what is actually new or real seasons. And if you share an account with someone especially where you can’t have multiple profiles. Which sucks with Crunchyroll specifically.

Myanimelist is the closest to that I believe. I believe you can at least mark your favorites so you don't completely forget all you watched.

Download the duckduckgo app and go to gogoanime.tel to get all the newest episodes (its what I do on my phone haha).

MAL has been my goto for this stuff for over 10 years now. Tho like @sportscoach, I am probably so in the weeds that we hear about whats upcoming a season or two early

Wife has been watching Darwin's Game (I think that's what it's call)

Pretty good. Wonder if that's a gateway to Sword Art Online....

Darwin's Game is a pretty dark story at the end of the day...

I can pretty much guess the story is going to end up super depressing. But that's okay! Nothing wrong with a depressing one every once and a while.

It's not my genre, but it ended up being pretty solid. It's not long, so anything I say could spoil it, but if you want one of those, it's a good one to select...

I know this is the anime thread but did anyone read the newest batch of hxh chapters? Definitely peak fiction material.
