Also on Darwins game. Not sure id call it a gateway to SAO. Its similar but darker than SAO for sure.

SAO is fascinating because a lot of people hated it when it came out but the market is so flooded with sword and sorcery isekai that is of mediocre or worse quality that SAO has won out

The only thing I didn't like about SAO was it felt a bit rushed at times and the second story, really didn't do it justice

SAO has a good premise. When it isn't a bad teen romance its decent. The problem is that it's a bad teen romance too often

I'm gonna be honest, that sounds EXACTLY up my wife's alley LMAO. I've never seen it but knew the premise was, somewhat, similar to DG.

So...yeah, I'm probably gonna have to recommend it to her.

Glad theres a chance someone will like it! I will say a lot of SAO villians are really creepy and not in a good way so that might be some needed content warning
