Ask Bimbo

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I suggested a bimbo only thread so others can quickly see his info or info we heard from him/organization to our fan questions in a succinct thread (to avoid repeat ques). I suggest keeping our opinions/back n forth to the other minor or guardian threads.

Bimbo:

1. Bo Naylor is walking at Big Hurt rates this year, and has cut down the strikeouts as well. We're in June now, so it's less and less "statistical fluke to start the season" and more “whoa, maybe this is who he's becoming." Was this a point of emphasis for him going into 2022, and how sustainable do you think it is?

2. What's your usual burrito order from Chipotle? Because the least we can do is buy you lunch one of these days. Really appreciate all of the insights and info.

Bimbo's burrito order.

Chicken. Some white rice, black beans, fajita mix, corn salsa, pico de gallo, guacamole - maybe a tiny bit of cheese. But usually no dairy stuff.

Edit. closet guess per Bimbo gets one of @sportscoach's gift cards.

2nd greatest Jewish baseball player. But Kofax might be the GOAT lefthander right?
Koufax was a monster. The only thing that may hold him back as the LHP GOAT is his relatively short career. To think of all his accomplishments and his retirement at the ripe old age of 30 is nothing short of amazing.

Actually, Naylor is at 7.6% this year while Thomas was at 16.5% for his career. But you have to love the 137 wRC+ Naylor is putting up so far. Just hope he can keep it up, or at least stay in that ballpark.

So Kofax over Hank Greenberg right?

And Adam Sandler greatest Jew Golfer of all time? I mean he did punch Bob Barker in the face.

And I apologize to @BimboColesHair for my Tom Foolery on this thread, I know your time is valuable and I dont know you appreciate my special brand of humor. I do appreciate all the insight you give, even if it seems I rather have the greatest Jew of all time debates, lmao

Warren Spahn. War hero like Feller, given the Purple Heart. From my general neck of the woods, Buffalo. Greatest lefty ever…

I actually don't think Gimenez will regress much from the current production... His BABIP is like .356 and his career is .312 plus with his natural speed and fairly solid contact rate, he will always have an above .300 BABIP... So I don't see a ton of regression... At the current moment, it's possible if he keeps up what he is doing, he could be an alternate if not making the All-Star team.

He was rated a solid defensive player and the Guardians reworked his swing in 21 cause they didn't like the way the Mets changed it. I think Cats is too much in love with the guy, but I believe he will be a solid everyday player regardless of position...
He's already a solid everyday player and looks to be more. The questions are.....can he sustain it? How far will he fall back to earth? How good will some of the prospects become? The beauty of it is that none of those things need answers right now. Why does anyone feel the need to be right about any type of prediction? Just let the shit play out and enjoy it while it's happening. Good Lord!
