Backup Big Men

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I don't think enforcers are really needed as much in the NBA anymore. The Spurs and Pistons really don't have any enforcer types. Ben Wallace is an active physical player but he doesn't really fit the enforcer label. The league has cut down on much of the physical play in recent seasons and tried to prevent things that lead to fights.

I'd rather see the Cavs get some long, athletic players on the front line and maybe a PF who can stretch the defense some. I look at players who have a lot of length like Rasheed, T. Prince, Horry, Duncan and going back to the Bulls championship teams--H. Grant and Pippen. That seems like more the way to go. Guys whose size cause problems on the defensive end and who can cover a lot of ground. All these players also can shoot with range, stretch defenses and draw big men out to the perimeter.
