Why?
Makes sense. Make it appealing. Take people's money.
Oh I don’t disagree
There’s many suckers out there, the lure of +650.

Yup. Increase those odds too much and they realize it's a sucker bet.Oh I don’t disagree

He would be basically be admitting 1. He sucked last year and B. The injury effected him.I mean, Baker was playing hurt all last year, so it fits.
Maybe. I don't think the Browns with Brissett can be called comfortable favorites against anyone. That Panthers team, even though their defense is a bit depleted, still has the weapons to beat anyone--especially early on before CMC inevitably gets hurt again. He's gonna roll us and RCF will implode.
I strongly disagree with this. I think it's clear that Baker isn't good enough to be the engine that drives a team to a Super Bowl. So, it's time to go find that guy--even if it costs us one step backwards in order to do so.I'm rooting for him, as I think it was a mistake to move on from him.
This feels like a take that's as biased as those you're trying to pooh-pooh. It's ok to not trust blindly, but every single piece of evidence points to one conclusion. When you ignore evidence that doesn't fit the narrative you want to believe, you're no better. The potential to improve was immense after the coaching carousel and injuries, but if he in fact was a malcontent that divided the locker room, then no love lost. That can only be determined by being in there with the team, as I don't trust much of the media reports with agendas and talking pieces.

They had significant offseason losses. They have talent, but I think their weaknesses overwhelm their strengths. The panthers are "bad" on defense?
