Baker Mayfield: Fire The Cannons

LOL what a fucking cornball

Baker is and always was only concerned about Baker. He’s the same immature punk who grabbed his crotch, planted a flag, stared down his old coach wrote a goodbye letter for no reason except his poor little feelings got hurt. Good riddance.

You guys just need to let it go. Baker was pretty good for us, relative to every other QB of the last two decades. We made the move to replace him and he’s justifiably pissed about it. Either he’ll hand us some lumps in week one or be humbled by us. Regardless, I have no ill will toward the guy and honestly don’t understand the vitriol toward a guy who played hard for us, even if he ultimately wasn’t quite good enough.

Honestly, that Baker merch for week 1 is pretty dope. Kudos to him. If I were a Panthers fan, I might buy that white "Off the Leash" shirt.

No hard feelings for me.

I just hope he has a reunion with Myles and Mr. Clowney 4-6 times on the field.

Baker didn't look bad today. He will most likely raise the ceiling of what the Panthers can be this season vs what they have been the last couple seasons. In the first half there was definitely a disconnect with the playcalling on what exactly Baker does best. They seem to get on the same page in the second half.

I'm happy the Browns won but it really wasn't a bad outting for Baker especially against a defense and staff that knows his tendencies as well as the Browns do.

Full credit to him for recognizing and exploiting two brutally bad busted coverages by the Browns, but outside of that he was 14/25 for 110 yards and a pick.

He sucked.

Did you watch his first half of play? Baker didn’t even look like a good back up qb. He tore it up in the second half, but this is proof why we should have moved on. His play is uneven. You never know what you’re going to get.
