I'm not close to being "excited" by the consistency of the offense. Baker and the offense and frankly just about every aspect of this team all have plenty of room for improvement. I just don't expect it all to happen instantly. My opinion is that when this many of the players change, the system changes, and this many of the players are still in the first few years of their careers, it takes some time for things to fall into place. I put a lot of this on Kitchens but I'm even willing to give him some time to learn and adjust to a position he's never held before.
Would it be great if it all happened sooner, of course. But it hasn't, and we are where we are. As far as I'm concerned Baker has taken some steps back and some steps forward, and it will all contribute to the player he becomes moving forward. And in my opinion he's still on a trajectory to be very good.
I think you and some others are too hard on him. I wonder if you're such a perfect person yourself IRL, that you can just throw shade in every direction as often as you do?
