As someone who played QB at the HS level:Hate to say it, but I think I agree with Orlovsky. The problem is Baker's first thought likely being "where's OBJ" isn't Beckham's problem. It's Bakers problem.
Also it doesn't explain his general lack of accuracy when throwing to OBJ.
I had a super dominant WR. I could throw it anywhere & he would find a way to get it. I struggled with double teams because I looked at him, then when I saw he was covered would look elsewhere. If others werent open, I would then revert back to option 1. The main problem is, not only would I force a throw, but the timing would often be off.
Baker is spending too much time thinking vs just letting it rip. It explains the accuracy drop off. Its on him. He needs to figure this out. With OBJ not being in the game, they need to use this as a time to mentally work with one another.
