Baltimore @ Cleveland

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
the important thing is that we went 2-1 in the last 3 games, and although it is a small building block, it is something nice for next season. The draft pick would only be marginally better if we lost, and i don't think that gain would have been as significant as ending the season 2-1.

I'm with Pip, we lost Hawk a while ago. There was no reason to doubt his talent, if so, he took care of that tonight again ND. He is a special player of the defensive side of the ball. I don't think anything he'll do at the combine will affect his draft position which will ultimately be in the top 5-7.

We are drafting at the 12th position now, the final word is out after all the games have been played. Had we lost the game, we probably would be 8th, 9th. I doubt we would have had a chance to draft Hawk, he's definitely Top 5, 6th at worst. He's the biggest name out there after the regulars: Reggie Bush, Matt Leinart, Vince Young, DaBrickshaw Ferguson.. And the best defender in this class, by far.

It all remains to be seen how we can evaluate the talent after that, and fit some needs. We might be able to pick up Mathias Kiwanuka, whom I think would be a good pickup. Anything defense would make me happy, really. And then, find a way to get Bobby Carpenter in the 2nd round, and we'll be nice and set.

The Browns would have picked 11 had they lost vs the Ravens..
