but Id love to get Shaun Alexander, we have more money than the Hawks and we can outbid him, i believe he has a thing in his contract that wont let him be a franchise player again, so Id take that..

however, Id much rather a dominating defense than a dominating offense. So Rube can stay and the money can be spent on getting that defense shored up and get some OL help.

I think its safe to say that we've screwed our selves out of getting two players that would have helped out defense very much: AJ Hawk and Mathias Kiwanuka. Oh well we got wins and hopefully that sends the right message to potential free agents that we want to win games. A 6-10 record looks much better than a 4-12 record.

With a loss yesterday, the highest pick we would have got was 10. And we would have done a coin flip with the Cards for that. So maybe 11.

So we didn't lose much.
