Baltimore @ Cleveland

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
for a change frye played well in the second half, not the first.

that first quater was sooooooo ugly, i cant believe we turned it around.

bryant played great today, he caught everypass thrown to him except for one. i to want him as a #2 guy, he has shown that he can make things happen when he catches the ball.

6-10 isnt good, but it is a repectable record for how bad some of the palyers are on this team.

here comes next year baby. :chuckles:

CONGRATS TO MY FELLOW BROWNS FANS...

IT'S OVER

BTW, We are undefeated thus far in 06.... :chuckles:

The way Romeo talked about Antonio makes me believe that they will put a good effort to bring him back.

I think its safe to say that we've screwed our selves out of getting two players that would have helped out defense very much: AJ Hawk and Mathias Kiwanuka. Oh well we got wins and hopefully that sends the right message to potential free agents that we want to win games. A 6-10 record looks much better than a 4-12 record.

Should be 9-7

Texans loss was a joke..

We had that Jags game in the bag..

If AB81 doesn't drop those two balls against the lions we win.

lol..9-7, we are still out of the playoffs and down in the bottom of the draft.

At the same rate, we were lucky to beat the Bears and the Dolphins, two good teams.

The season is made of what ifs...

As was the Cavaliers season last year the Indians season this year and the present/past Browns season..ugh..:(

Charlie Frye.... played terribly in the first half, the Ravens defense put tons of pressure on us. But came through in the 2nd, not looking like a rookie anymore.

He finishes his stint, 2-3. The three losses... one against the giant Steelers securing their playoff spot. another against the rising Bengals trying to get home field advantage. And the Jags game was fairly close, Frye had a great first half, and a few defensive mistakes in the 3rd led to unwanted touchdowns. Oakland win was ugly, but this win was nice.

I love that Northcutt finally got a punt return without a block in the back. He's got something real nice to cheer about. He was so distraught last time it was called back.

Officiating was terrible, terrible, terrible, this game. Good thing we fought through the adversity.

Reuben hasn't been performing well as of late. Although he did have tons of carries to set the record. He's been shut down on a weekly basis. Will we re-sign him to a big contract? That has yet to be seen.

And with Bryant... we'll try to get him back, but if he asks too much, I don't think we'll go too far. He makes plays, but also drops a lot of passes.

All in all, I'll keep myself occupied until next season. But, it's definitely going to be our breakout season, for sure this time. Although we kinda screwed ourselves with the draft pick, but in return we have confidence and a winning mentality. Getting at least 9 wins next year should be our goal.

GO BROWNIES!

I was kind of wanting a loss. 5 spots in the draft can make a big difference.

Frye shows flashes but the Browns shouldn't feel completely comfortable that he is definitely their QB of the future. I don't think he'll ever be a star QB but he could be a QB you can still win with.
Arm strength is a concern with him. He isn't great on deep throws and he hasn't shown he can fire passes hard into receivers. Most of his throws have been soft for the most part.

Bryant is capable of big games like he had today but then he can turn around and contribute little and drop passes his next game. He will probably be back if his contract demands are reasonable. Who knows when Braylon Edwards will be ready to play? He hasn't even had his surgery yet.

This team still needs tons of help. Savage's 1st draft class contributed little. Hopefully some of these guys can step in next year.
The $30 million in cap room sounds nice but unfortunately this is a weak class of FA's this offseason. It might make sense to save some of this money until next offseason rather then overpay for average talent.

what hurts about bryants big game is that he went over the 1,000 yard mark and that wont help when it comes time for the contract.

i wanted to win, im tired of losing.

Rube has one more year left on his deal so he wont be working the contract tables.

Even if he does, he wont demand much because he isnt a big time RB. He is a middle of the pack back, and regardless of Rosenhaus asks for, he probably wont get it by the Browns, or any team for that matter.

I'm about to report a bad post.

ive given rube credit before and he is a solid back, that is a solid back. if we had a top notch running back im seeing 1600 yards.

ill take him next year though, no need to get rid of the back that has produced the most yards in 20 years.

he still fumbles way to much. pipp man up and admit your boy fumbles to much.

:chuckles: Who do you assume we get then boys? Trade half our team for Reggie Bush? Hmm I'd take Shaun Alexander in a heartbeat but will he come here for the most money or stay on a known contender in Seattle...?

Theres Edgerrin James but I beleive he stays in Indy with all their weapons...
