Well its Monday and the first week of the season. We are going against the in-sate rival who is looking to surprise a lot of people this year by competiting for the division.

Our beloved brownies on the other hand are once again starting all over, but things don’t look that bad. We have some good things that we have not had in previous years. RAC will prove to be the biggest off-season move when carson palmer and other quarterbacks get confused by his football i.q.

i really dont know what to expect in this game...daylon has played only one preseason game and baxter is out. the secondary is supposed to be the strongest part of the defense and as of now things dont look like it. the linebackers seem to be gettting the system a lot better as well as the line but things are still iffy. i can see rudy making a couple of huge runs against us.

on the other hand the bengals defense is not much better than a year ago. willy tore up the bengals last year with an offensive line subpar to the current. running the ball will be the key for us staying in the game.

its at home so thats on our side and the bengals are terrible on season openers.

21-10 bengals. i want the brownies to win but i just done see it happening. The bengals will pull away in the fourth.

Very nice but I see Dilfer and Bryant hooking up for some long ones..

Bryant 7 catches 103 yards 1 td..
Dilfer 15-26 for 272 yards and 2 td passes
Billy Miller (newly acquired te) 2 catches 14 yards 1 td..
Wiliam Green 12 carries 58 yards 2 receptions 8 yards
Ruben Droughns 14 carries 67 yards 1 reception 4 yards
and what we have all been waiting for...
Braylon Edwards 4 catches 53 yards decent start in a limited role..

Final Score: 38-28 Browns..not the offensive slugfest of last year but not a game of field goals either..

Well i'm not going to go into stats... but I think the browns have a shot for this one..

They played well last year in the home opener, and they beat the bengals last year when they came to town..

Although this is a different squad, it is a better team then last years squad.. Better coaches, quarterbacks, recievers, D-line, LB's, and secondary.. So I think we have a shot.

We better, cause the next two after that will be tough and then the bye week..

I don't want to see our first win come in october :thumbdown

The bengals are going to out score us. It'll be a shoot out if we're going to win, and we don't havr the fire power. I'm interested to see how carsobn palmer progresses this year.

I predict a loss. The Browns won in the preseason, but i don't think it will translate over to the regular sewason yet. Dilfer is a back up at best, and won't get the line protection he needs to survive half the season, not that he'd help us win anyway.. I think you'll see us run the ball about 50 times, the bengals defense is soft, and we'll punish them on the ground, to try and manage the clock and limit the bungels opportunity's.

I hope we don't play charlie frye, at least for half of the season. And if we do play him it should be spareingly, he'll get killed behind this line of scrubs.

browns are gonig to win common guys bangels are nothing great, we beat them last season the forst game and in the second game if our def could have made one stop we would have won, and if browns stay healthy i see browns winning 24-13.

u guys are surpose to be browns fans lol, its the bengals not the pats or eagles, so stop saying there going to lose, damn common, browns have some nice players and a pretty good offence 24-13 browns win.

Oh man. I am so psyched. I want to hit something out of excitement...Maybe I should hit this fag at my work that just came in with a Rudi Johnson jersey!

Do the Capital One commercial with David Spade piss off some big guy and have him come in there and be like im wearing a rudi johnson bengals jersey...lol

New coach, new D coord, new D scheme.

Same exact problems as last year.

Piss poor rush, soft zone coverage=easy 5-10 yard pick ups every play.

And the wonderful William Green it's hard to find a back to run into the pile and fall over at the line of scrimmage what a privelage to watch..and no excuses like 1st string defense for only Green and not Droughns or 2nd string line for Green..1st team playing first team and Green sucked it up like usual. Cute preseason but those games mean nothing, no talk about the 02 playoffs either this is 2005. And William Green is not a good Running Back..I'm glad we are spending 40 mill on Braylon to use him as a decoy for Bryant and Jackson..when he was thrown to it was caught....new offensive coordinator same 5 yard passes..awesome phantom pass interference call on our interception and touchdown should be down by a touchown instead we are down by two td's...

CDT.. I've been trying to get it across for weeks RUBEN is just a better running back.. PURE AND SIMPLE.

He is not the greatest, but he is the best on our team.. Plus he is versatile, he returns kicks well, and he can catch the ball.

on the other hand..
OUR Secondary is Trash..
OUR D- line is worse then trash.
OUR LB's including MR. Andra Davis is terrible...

Indianapolis might drop 60 on us in week 3 if they don't get this taken care of.. All those slant routes and pump fake GO ROUTES will be scary..

The scheme is horrible, they are too worried about the deep route, they play back to far.. None of our LB's drop back into coverage..

OUR DEFENSE MIGHT BE THE WORST IN THE NFL :thumbdown

F-U MIKENS

wow what a crappy game.

as crappy as we played the officials were not on our side. punt return taken back, dude gets in the way of a first down and possibly a touchdown, and then the interception.

i dont want to use them as an excuse but we are not good enough to overcome crap like that. 3 big calls hurt us big time.

oh yeah pass rush :thumbdown :thumbdown :thumbdown :thumbdown :thumbdown :thumbdown :thumbdown :thumbdown

I agree with Rube he lowers his shoulder and hits defenders in the mouth, it pissed me off so bad every play our cbs were 15 yards behind the wr's itd be a 5 yard out pass and it would be like 5-10 seconds before you would see a browns corner in the frame on the camera wtf!...our pass rush sucks fisk and roye cant take on 4 lineman a rb and a te it's rediculous chaun thompson is our only lb thats worth a shit ruff hardly even played and wtf why did they not get the ball to braylon why are all of our pass routes 5 yard sideline outs GODDDDDDD

Braylon F'd up on a couple routes, including that last interception.. It was a timing play where braylon was supposed to run a post, it would have worked but Braylon decided to go to the house..

There was pressure on Dilfer, but if Braylon would have ran his proper route, it would have been a first down...(pending a drop of course)

Stuff like that is the reason they most likely didn't call his number...

I just don't want to see Dilfer eye AB81 on every pass play, like Couch and KJ

I didn't notice the blown route, but seriously there are more receivers then AB81 granted he played well you cant hit him every play it got old and the sniffed it out bomb some out to Northcutt. The game went downhill when we let that pot smoking green in the game, like i said running into the pile and falling at the line of scrimmage is his M-O. I hope to got Baxter gets back so we dont put up with our corners giving up 10 yards before a defensive back is in the picture...god such a piss poor game.
