I mean honestly if he's committed to it I think he'd make a hell of a TE. He'd probably be one of the best in the league right now had he come out of college willing to convert.

That was the sentiment around here at that time too I believe. Or at least it was mine and I remember at least a few people agreeing with me lol

I just had my Mike Gundy birthday, so I get it. It does seem more recent than that, and I wouldn't have known if it wasn't pointed out it was damn near a decade ago since he last played.

Mina Kimes pointed out that Trevor Lawrence was in 7th grade last time Tebow played. That's ridiculous. Homie is trying a completely new position at the highest level after not playing for over 8yrs, while on the wrong side of 30. It's an uphill battle for sure.

I gotta think this is all a favor bestowed to Tebow from Urban. I doubt Urban is looking for All Pro play, but I bet he is looking for leadership in the locker room and another voice that replicates his.
As for Tebow, he might have a yearning for one more go... same as many, many pro athletes. It's a long way off, but let's see if he makes final roster cuts first, otherwise, it's just an old coach/ex-player relationship that makes them both feel good and might bring some small benefit.
