Cody Kessler. You've got to trust me on this one.

I'm still a believer to this day that Manziel could have been a solid QB if he could get his shit together off the field and study/work hard to improve. For one game in Stefanski's system I'd roll the dice with Johnny. Definitely not for a season.
My point was that he had the skills to stand out, just not the mindset/mentality to develop them. Not sure I can say the same about many of our failed QBs - but point taken. So essentially what you're saying is he could've been a solid QB if he was an entirely different person.
The maf checks out.

What you did, I see it.Cody Kessler. You've got to trust me on this one.
I've been watching this show/podcast for a little while now, it's pretty insightful.
I’ll always dislike Brandon Marshall because of how much he hated on the Browns and Baker on First Things First.Following up on this:
Until their podcast popped up on my youtube a few months ago (the episode with Cam Newton), I had never heard of it and really had forgotten about Brandon Marshall altogether (and Fred Taylor to a lesser extent). But the podcast is seriously good content, and the House of Athlete stuff that Marshall has put together is pretty damn cool. Good for him/them and cool to see the Browns taking advantage of it.
Can't say I've ever seen/watched it. But I know he's not the biggest Baker fan based on some of his comments from the podcast.I’ll always dislike Brandon Marshall because of how much he hated on the Browns and Baker on First Things First.

This is why I've never seen or heard itIn other words: Trash TV
In the case of FTF, it seemed far more personal from Marshall than others. It didn't quite feel like the Marcellus Wiley vs. Emmanuel Acho anti-Browns vs. pro-Browns takes. Or Undisputed with Shannon and Skip. You can kind of tell when it's just contrarian takes.A lot of that animosity is so nakedly performative and just a product of how the show is structured though. Nick Wright taking the pro browns position necessitates that Marshall takes the opposing position. It is to FTF's credit, that they don't fall completely into First Take/Undisputed territory of just mindless contrarian debate fuckery, and there is room for changing perspectives and opinions, but it's still largely pantomime. The blatant moving of goalposts wrt the Browns last year kinda highlighted that to the point where it become open satire on FTF, like you could tell it was a bit and not that serious.
I think some of that maybe stems from Marshalls diagnosis as being borderline, which means he can struggle with regulating and moderating his own emotional reactions. He can burn extremely hot and sorta lose himself a bit in the "performance" so to speak. In the case of FTF, it seemed far more personal from Marshall than others. Just my interpretation - as I actually like Colin Cowherd (because his ridiculousness is so transparent and phony). But sometimes you can tell when it's not so performative, and I felt that away about Brandon Marshall.
FWIW: I know a lot of people call that stuff trash TV and will demonize it but I generally find it funny. Just my perspective but I like seeing where my Browns are in the media, since it was all trashing and bashing for 20 years.
