So it sounds more like Paton interviewed us...

"Here's everything that's wrong with your organization. How will you fix it if I accept?"

Post of the year! Lmao

wtf did highsmith do? He’s the one who fought for us to draft Chubb

You sure about that one? As I've seen it, Elliot Wolf is the one who suggested Chubb and called him the next Jamal Lewis in his conference call after the pick.

Highsmith IS, however, directly responsible for Chad Thomas and Sheldrick Redwine.

The only thing Highsmith gets credit for is pounding on the table for underachieving Miami players... and following porn stars on Twitter.

Or maybe Paton already had his 2nd interview and our media is clueless.

Or, maybe Paton was already hired and has been a double GM for us and the Vikings for years.
Not sure your point, think you missed the joke, obviously there is something up, already hired, 2nd interview already, etc...thus the laugh and lack of poker face.

Paton was reluctant to accept the initial interview at first because he assumed the job would go to the other finalist, Eagles Vice President of Football Operations Andrew Berry. But he agreed to it for a chance to work with Stefanski.

Trying to temper my expectations, but it’s awesome to hear that Stefanski is highly regarded by so many reputable football minds in the league.
