BROWNS OFF-SEASON 2020

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Fitting to note that the Vikings with Paton isn't big on signing other team's free agents. When he does, he goes for big ticket items at important positions. This is quite different than Dorsey. It wouldn't surprise me if the Browns go after one stud offensive tackle and focus on the draft for the rest of the holes, for example.

Anyone have thoughts on whether Vernon should be cut?

Is there someone in FA that people have an eye for to replace him?

I think he's a prime candidate to restructure. I think he's still a good player when healthy.

There are also a bunch of edge guys that could be available in free agency. Ngakoue, Dupree, Fowler, Beasley, Armstead, Ansah, Quinn, Sheard, Ogbah, Lawson... there are a ton of options.

He makes 15 mill, almost no cap hit if we cut him, so on surface it looks like it, but one he was one of the top DE against the run, he didnt put flashy sack numbers up, but he had a very good season, and 2, i would love to see what a new defensive coordinator does with him and Myles for the year, we have some cap room, then we are going into a possible uncapped year.

Browns worked him out and looks like ten teams put in offers.

How are we playing the Jets again on the road???

AFCN's "matching" East game is on the road across the board; the "matching" West game is at home across the board.

So, SD @ CIN, CIN @ MIA, PIT @ BUF, DEN @ PIT, KC @ BAL, BAL @ NE.

Is 15m the going rate for good run stopping defensive ends?

Just made our first signing with the new regime. Athlete Johnny Stanton. His college tape is crazy, basically Taysum Hill light.

No, not at all, but if he is used different and can get to the qb like he has proven in every other season he is worth 15m, just saying dont want to dump talent, lets see what a new coaching staff can do with him

Athlete:

Guy was blocked by CJ Ham, hopefully he's able to help Stefanski install what he wants with regard to the zone scheme.

Quite an athlete.

He looks good.

What do you think, @The Oi?
