BROWNS OFF-SEASON 2020

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I have a feeling the Browns want to really start playing the compensatory pick game moving forward.

Could be one possible explanation of all the one year contracts.

Makes sense to be able to round out the roster with good quality and quantity of rookie deals once we have to pay Baker/Myles/Ward/maybe Chubb.

Becton is a super interesting case study to me because he very much checks two boxes that the Browns will be looking for in draft prospects.

1. He’s very young. Only 20 right now and will play his entire rookie season at 21 years old.

2. He’s an elite athlete for his size and a very good functional athlete for any size.

My only two concerns with Becton are his ability to control his weight and his stamina. This scheme is going to ask the tackles to get out in space A LOT. That’s what made Conklin so appealing in free agency.

I am just very skeptical that a near 370 pound man is up to the task of racing out into space to make blocks on the second level all game, every game.

If Stefanski and Callahan think he can hold up, he is absolutely worthy of being a top 10 pick.

Hey, didn't we hear something like this 2 years ago?

Although even if Tie-Rod stays upright, the Bolts just don't have the fan pull to pressure to bench him.

I still wouldn't take a risk on Tua any earlier than at least the 20th pick.

Well, Hue would have continued to play Tyrod had he not gotten hurt, but once he did and Baker came in and looked significantly better, there was no going back. If Tyrod doesn't get hurt, who knows how many games he has to lose before we turn to Baker? Hue was both dumb and stubborn and Haley was actively sabotaging the team.

Remember, these were the same jokers who saw Chubb rip off that 90+ yard run and then proceeded to continue to only give him three touches a game behind an ineffective Carlos Hyde until Dorsey forced their hand and traded Hyde.
