Ya, halfway through the game, we are down 7-3.

It is possible to win, but it is looking bad.

I don't like it that we are protecting Frye so much that he can only through on 3rd downs, or having RD run all 3 downs. Ridiculous!

We Win! 9-7 Dawson nails the GW fieldgoal!

Charlie Frye is born. Leigh Bodden is born. This team is establishing a few cornerstones for the future.

Throw a 3 mph beach ball at AB81 and he drops it..

Throw a 100 mph marble at AB81 and he catches it..

;)

today sucked, the second game i have missed since they have come back because they cant sell-out a game. :thumbdown listening to the radio sucks big time, but i get to watch the rewind of the game on direct tv's shortcutt :chuckles: . now i get to talk trash to the raider fans at my work.

Good cuz wins are like good. But bad cuz they are now 4-10 and we are 5-9. Meaning we just lost some more ground in the draft

You know what? I had ur attitude. But I saw the light!

We NEED WINS BECAUSE:

1. get rid of the losing attitude

2. Charlie gets to build confidence

3. Higher draft pics are usually very HIGH in RISK, and cost too much money.

4. Playing of a draft pick ,ais so bad for the Veterans.

5. We got Phil, and he will get us a winner no matter where we draft!

I WOULD LOVE TO GO 3-0!

I must say I agree...It seems as of late, alot of teams who start to build something and begin to draft in the middle, seem to come away with productive players who fit better with their respective teams... The Bengals for example have had a couple 7-9,8-8 seasons and have come away with players later in the draft that have help form them to a solid squad...

So I am all for drafting 10-20 and building on the success of this season...

I noticed that Cali. Raider Nation is supposed to be the best fan followin gand they cant even sell out.

The entire upper deck was empty...pathetic.

A better example is the Steelers. They always pick like 15 spots behind us, but always seem to get their studs. See, the people confuse the NFL draft, with the NBA one. In the NFL, you can find you stud in any round!

Now, to continue my list:

6. The Free Agents rather go to a team with a winning record, or close to (hopefully the Browns), rather than the crappy 49ers/Texans/etc...! So we need to win to show the FAs that we can win and get over the hump with they come to Cleveland. We got the money, but we need to show them that they should be here!

7. Having a high draft pick will screw us later in Cap space. TRUE, today we just dropped to the outside of the Top 10 in the draft, but we also just gained 5 Mill in Cap Space for the future! That is one more solid player we can sign when we make our run for the second Super Bowl!

Very good points ruanu after that I'm going to have to say I agree with you. We do save money in signing bonuses based on where a player goes. Savage plucked Lewis at like what the 26th pick? Let's just hope he can do the same for us. Hopefully we can beat the steelers to put the chargers in and them out :) And beat baltimore for the hell of it.

This game was pretty gross to watch. No TD's, boredom. But a lot of the plays were impressive. Charlie's arm is great, his motion and instincts seem to be headed in the right direction...

We'll get talent wherever we draft, yes. But drafting AJ Hawk... that would be something.

Charlies arm is great?

As far as what? Please dont say strength...

I would say, putting the ball where it needs to be. Some are underthrown, some seem wobbly, but he hits the money on most of his throws, regardless of how the ball looks.

charlie made an amazing throw late in the game where he was running from a dlineman and put the ball on the money...i think it was frisman strattling the sidelines...that throw was incredible
