Speaking so specifically and bluntly means this is close to resolution imo.

As long as it’s still in Cuyahoga county, I’m frankly rooting for the dome. Easy for me to say though living out of NEO for almost 25 years now. Wish there was a downtown/city spot that worked for a dome.

Just don’t believe the lakeside renovations can be anything other than a 10 year band aid that still results with us having one of the bottom 3rd stadium experience for both fans and players leaguewide

Just do the domed stadium in the suburbs or wherever. The current stadium is ugly as sin, so hopefully an open plot of land and a fresh start can give us something more world class instead of the oft-memed "Tennessee scoreboards".

Dome probably makes more sense long-term. Plus, it means that the current stadium can be leveled and the land can be used to build up more stuff around the lakefront, science center, Rock Hall, etc. That area has a lot of potential if the city approaches it correctly.

Over half of the NFL stadiums are not smack dab in downtown. The 13 mile drive between Downtown and the proposed location is becoming more of the standard as time goes on.

Niners are the extreme outlier, but that is from two moves over the course of about 60 years, becoming farther and farther away from the middle of the city.

They have the rail running from the airport to downtown already. This would be a great chance to expand the light rail system as a means for people to get in and out of games without battling traffic issues. The people who do want to drive and tailgate would be right next to I-71 for an easier entrance and get-away as well. Personally I'd love to see expanded rail options and routes to get from surrounding areas to both the airport and to downtown, without having to drive in and park in the city lots. They need more spurs radiating south and west.

I'll laugh my ass off if they build a stadium in Brookpark. Just move the team, Jimmuh. Cleveland can then tear down the old stadium and build a dome in time for a new expansion team. And there is no way this is a 'mostly privately' funded stadium. The county will foot a huge portion of the bill either way.

Fuck the suburbs stealing everything from the city. The Haslams are just going to pay for it? Because I seriously doubt Brook Park has the cash for that and can’t see Cuyahoga going along with that since they’ve been working with Cleveland.

Ad long as the browns stay in NE Ohio, I'm indifferent. unless it means less tax payer money being used.
