Browns Vs. LIONS (Week 7)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Let him make his rookie mistakes and let him have his growing pains now. Then we can get a good draft and Free Agency like last year and put him out there with some experience under his belt. Sound Good? Any Objection? Are we playoff bound? No could we get there? Doubtfull with the Steelers and Bengals playing the way they are so why not.

Holly COW! I can throw more than 70 yards with my d1ck! 70 yards for a "Veteran" QB is just so sorry, it makes me cry.

Let FRYE fry the Texans' D next week. We should start Frye next week because starting him off easy is the best thing for his confidence. And the Texans are as easy as it gets.

i'm actually scared for this game against the texans because if we lose this one................that is just flat out shitty. lol

Now is the perfect time to put Frye in... Next we play the Texans, who is one of the 2 worst teams in the league and then we play the Titans, who are dinged up and also not a great team. I figure if we put Charlie in now, he can learn how to play at NFL speed and he is not going to screw things up too bad. I didn't want to see Fry in this year either but if we put him in now, he might bring our offence alive. And if he does that, we can very easily get back to .500 and be in the wildcard race, you never know...

I don't think we should continue to make the same mistakes as the past Browns did. That was the constant interchange of QB's between Holcomb and Couch. If Couch had a bad game... everyone would scream for Holcomb. Then Holcomb would start for a couple games until he stunk, then everyone would scream for Couch.

Give the QB position some stability. Yea, he had a terrible game, but that happens. Don't forget about his player of the week nomination. Let him pick up his game a little more, give him a chance to rebound, and keep Frye on schedule: that's the end of the year when we tank it, or next year.

A game? No my friend! It has been MORE than A game!

I really do think we should just slow down and be patient. Did you really think that we would have a remote chance of making the postseason this year? This season is for learning. And our team will NOT learn if we switch up the QB mid season. Failing is part of learning. But you won't get anything out of it if you do not bounce back, and not allowing a team to bounce back on its own is the worst way to screw things up.

Throwing in Charlie Frye now would be a mistake. Everyone knew in the beginning of the season that all of these things would happen. Browns would give a few good games, tank it in a lot, but show flashes of brilliance. We're nothing close to a playoff team, so don't think that Frye will be the immediate savior.

Another thing. What would Frye think of his coach if suddenly, his "mentor" is pulled out after a couple bad games. How would that wreck HIS nerves if he's thrust in to be the savior, regardless of whether he's ready or not. That the same thing could happen to him under the whim of the coach? No, I want stability and the assurance in our veteran, starting QB for the season. I want no more Butch Davis. I'd rather keep to the schedule and we'll see a great Browns team next season. Don't panic and mess everything up because you want ONE win this season. I have faith that Romeo Crennel feels the same way.

I agree somewhat... I don't want us to throw Frye in and screw up his career, but I think if we're gonna play him at all this year, we should start him out in the next two weeks...
