I don't think it's more than a body. My guess he will only be around till a couple guys get healthy. I just think the front office decided to go after a PG since Delly is hurt and it was pretty hard to watch Clarkson and Burks play backup PG.

I figure the front office wants the flexibility with that roster spot for trades. Maybe they have a trade on the table that is waiting on certain players to become eligible to be traded. Who knows what's going on with the Mccaw thing.

There must be something more to the Mccaw signing and waiving. I know it's been floated that it could be a favor for the agent but doesn't it open up the Cavs for a retalition move from the Warriors in the future. If we don't end up resigning Mccaw, I'm not sure what we gain in the future. Who do Mccaw's agent represent other than him?

I always thought it was weird Koby would use that extra 3 million in salary to push us so close to the luxury line. I thought the organization would want that money to play with for trades at the deadline.

I liked Payne coming out of college. 4 years later he's been nothing but a disappointment every time he gets a chance. Luckily he should only be with the team for 10 days and hopefully won't sniff any court time with us.
