Caris LeVert: Two More Years!

Do Not Sell My Personal Information

Is LeVert back in 2023-24?

  • Cavs can't afford the $$$ to keep him and nothing is going to change that

  • After bricking shot after shot in the playoffs, Koby washes his hand and lets LeVert walk

  • Only if he signs for something close to the MLE

  • If Caris plays well in the playoffs, the Cavs will offer big $$$ to keep him

  • KobyAltman! No one else on the team fills his role, so stop sitting on your hands!

Levert can be flexed to forward or Sexton can play point while on the court together. They have the cap space to retain him and he vocally committed to playing off-ball more. Would imagine Levert would be open to playing off-ball at times too. Defensively not a great fit, but our bigs really help as a safety net for awkward lineups on defense.

I think we keep 2 of Garland, Sexton. and LeVert on the floor at all times.

We needed a player like this to run our second unit.

Not sure why anyone would call this a bad fit at all.
It's probably more awkward when you picture everyone back healthy and without anymore trades made.

It can work, but it will take some effort on JBB, LeVert, and potentially Sexton's part to get lineups to flow well and maximize their skills while on the court together.

It’s not a terrible fit this year (we lose 0 players in this trade), but it is next year.

Garland/Sexton
LaVert/Okoro

doesn’t quite give you the 3pt shooting out of the backcourt we need in my opinion.

I’m hoping the Cavs decide this off-season: trade LaVert or Sexton. Who do they believe in more?
