I don't mind that the Cavs lost but what bothers me is the way they lost. I don't know how they could come out with such little effort and enthusiasm in a game like this against Detroit. There's no excuse for that.
Cavs have improved and continue to get better but I think we see just how much further they have to go. I hope a possible 2nd round matchup against Detroit doesn't end up an embarrassment.
Other than Z and LeBron, no one else did much of anything tonight.
Larry Hughes looked like JR Bremer or Lucious Harris tonight. Let's not give up on him quite yet. He's still shaking off a lot of rust.
The great Flip Murray was invisible tonight. Same with Jones, Marshall and Snow.
I can understand Varejao getting thrown out but if that deserved an ejection than I have to think swinging an elbow at another player's head and opening up a huge gash has to deserve an ejection also.
Sad to see that the only way Lebron's minutes get cut is if he gets hurt. No need to rush him back. There's no way he should play tomorrow.
It would have been nice to be able to watch the entire game even if it was ugly. Not sure what the hell ESPN was thinking switching to other games not even on their network. It especially sucks when I believe they had exclusive rights to this game so it wasn't broadcast locally.
