Re: Knicks @ Cavaliers

Injury update-
Z is not going to play tonight, may miss a few games.
Donyell Marshall chipped a bone in his left pinky finger during the Charlotte game. Since it's his non-shooting hand it shouldn't effect his deadly outside shot. :chuckles:

Re: Knicks @ Cavaliers

Who will get the start for Z? Anderson?

This should be a serious beatdown. I feel like we're about to play McHale's Navy. Qyntel Woods vs. Lebron James, whoo hoo... Only thing we have to worry about is not getting any more injuries. (Malik Rose is tough & is the only PF that comes close to AV in energy, 110%)

We can experiment around with the faster lineup since Z's out. But we better not forget where our bread will be buttered in the playoffs- halfcourt sets and pacing built around post play.

Also better put Flip on Nate Robinson to start out, Snow can in no way keep up with him. If Snow can at least contain Jamal Crawford we should be fine.

Re: Knicks @ Cavaliers

The New York Knickerbockers are DEAD MEAT...

They have no chance to win this game...

I still think MVP worthy LeBron James AKA The Chosen One (see his tatoo) remembers his Olympic benching on the way to a bronze medal, and wants to stick it to the so called "great" Larry Brown. The Knicks, who some fans in Cleveland are worried about our superstar bolting to, because NYC is such a "large" market. Despite they are one of the worst teams in the East. LBJ, if my memory serves me, has yet to light up the Mecca, MSG, like his idol did countless times. It is coming New York, and your fans can only dream they live in C-Town.........

I would not be surprised if The King nets 50+ tonite, the reigning EConf player on the month, as a way to show that the Mecca of BBall right now is in Cleveland, Ohio......

Re: Knicks @ Cavaliers

We aren't at home, we are playing at The Garden..

Re: Knicks @ Cavaliers

107-87

Hughes puts in 17 with 4 rips. AV double-doubles again, LeBron's sitting by mid-fourth.

The sportsline.. :chuckles: ...Awesome touch iN_fAn_TaY

If AV gets a DD in this one, I would feel really good about his future going forward when we hopefully get rid of stupid90

we need to come out and dominate this game.....there is no reason for it to be even close.....we have a 9 game winning streak and they have a 9 game losing skid.....dont play down to thier level....go in and dominate in the 1st half and then just trade buckets in the 2nd for a 20 pt victory

Gooden should put up some numbers tonight as well. With Z's touches out of the way, Gooden'll be the beneficiary. Dunks and jump hooks...

I said it before, and i'll say it again. Larry Brown sucks, and that he got lucky in Detroit.

He doesn't suck Ruanu don't be ignorant. Rosterwise the Pistons to the Knicks is just a huge difference. The Pistons are like 13 deep the Knicks are like 3 deep. Larry has taken a few teams to the playoffs no one has ever taken as many different teams as he has to the post season.

That optimist thing is just stupid he predicts a win every game.

I don't know, man. New York has quite a bit of talent on that roster. There comes a point in which a coach--particularly a supercoach making Brown's $--has to stop making excuses, blaming his players for being selfish, etc, and has to start getting results. The Knicks have plenty of talent--more than the injury-depleted Bobcats for example, yet they don't come to play.

Sure, a lot of that blame belongs on the players. But Brown has been outspoken in the media this year...perhaps not the best strategy? Whatever his motivation tactics are and have been in the past, Larry Brown is getting the absolute worst out of his players--IMO he should be fired.

They are such a bad mismatched team, thats usually how you make a good nba live team. Get a buttload of scorers and just have fun. Doesn't fly in real life, they have NO defense. Steve Francis and Curry, Marbury is out :)
