Cavaliers @ Knicks

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Next time we play Jamal Crawford send out a goon to put him out in the first quarter..

I'm getting tired of the Cavs continually having problems with the worst teams in the league. It's understandable if it happens once in a while but this has been going on all season. Mike Brown deserves much of the blame for not getting this team ready to play the bottomdwellers of the league.

It's sad to get outworked, outplayed and outhustled by the team with the worst record in the league who's also surrounded by controversy.

Cavs took 1st 3 quarters off and LeBron played some of his worst ball of the season in the 1st 3.
Cavs once again got into the pattern of one on one play and jacking up 3's and deep jumpers early in the shotclock. That pattern had seem to have been fixed lately.

Hughes was terrible tonight. Bad decision making offensively and Crawford destroyed him. I guess he does have the excuse of just getting back from so much times missed. I also question why he was out there at the end.

Gooden played very well tonight but Cavs stopped looking to him and decided to jack up deep jumpers instead.
Z was sorely missed tonight. His low post ability and size in the lane on defense was badly needed.

Only one game but not good to see the Cavs fall back into some bad patterns again. At least the 4th playoff spot is basically wrapped up.

I just think the Cavs DIDN'T BRING THEIR "A" GAME

I also think the Cavs DIDN'T LEAVE IT ALL OUT THERE ON THE FLOOR

I would have rather watched Larry Tate office linebacker hit Crawford then that crappy tear drop bullsh1t

First off if Hughes hits that last shot, everyone here would be all elated about how it was a great look by Hughes and its great to have him back and Lebron made the right decision bla bla. But there were SO MANY other plays in this game, starting with a host of missed free throws by everyone, then some bonehead fouls down the stretch while in the penalty. Not to mention a tech during a time out. Ive never seen that before, Hughes musta pissed those guys off.

This should have been a blowout, the New York crowd was basically half for the Cavs, so it wasnt really like a road game. You hear how loud it got when the Knicks jumped out to the early lead? Then did you hear how loud it was when Lebron went crazy in the 4th? There were more cheers for the Cavs when they first tied it up then at any other time during the game.

All in all, it was probably good to get Hughes more time out there in a pressure situation, should pay off later.

This was the most retarded game of the season.

We didn't even show up for that game. My brother left after the 3rd qtr. I fell asleep thru most of the 4th. When I woke up somehow we were within 6 with 4 mins to go. So I HAD to watch the rest of that travesty.

Cavs didn't deserve the win at all though. Didn't even try to replace Z's post presence even though Drew has shown he can do it. How many times did Gooden post up early? Once? He should have done it 5x in the 1st qtr, he and Anderson were looking pretty redundant out there.

Meh...Larry with some nice plays and good defense. Flip continuing to bring it even though his role is being reduced.

I'm not worried though, we beat both Miami and Dallas so it's not like we've fallen off track. This game would have been hard to get up for after those dandies.

Yar. I just went back and watched the replay a few times...I am thinking Lebron was through the seam of the 4 players and could have made it with his L hand, but he was doing it more as a personal favor for Larry Hughes to boost his confidence. Again, low risk (we'll still get 4th seed unless we completely break down), high reward (hits it, Larry and Lebron are god). I would rather Lebron make that shot, he does that L hand drive routinely, but I do "get it", what he was trying to do.

Hahaha.

1) Larry was wide open. LeBron was almost completely closed off from the basket.

Think of it this way. If LeBron takes and misses that shot with Larry wide open in the corner...how tempted are you to say "LeBron!!!! How can you force that terrible shot??? Your boy was wide open for three! Why the hell wouldnt you dish it?"

If Larry hits that shot then LeBron becomes the unselfish MVP again to every single one of you. No doubt about it. You'd all be going nuts about his fantastic offensive performance in the 4th and how perfect it was that Larry would come back off that injury to hit the game-winner.

LeBron made the right decision and Larry came very VERY close to winning that game just like Damon and Flip had before him. Almost the same situation.

2) We are a TERRIBLE TERRIBLE FT shooting team...especially down the stretch. It is awful to watch and it is going to destroy us in the playoffs. LeBron is as guilty as anyone.

3) We still seem to lack an offensive game plan. If we look as undisciplined in the playoffs AND get blown out by a team thats not as good as us...everyone will be calling for Mike Brown's head. Perhaps rightfully so. Brown- like Silas before him- appears unable to game plan. And he is constantly saying it himself.
