i bet if zach had 2yrs left on his contract half of yall going against zach would have liked the idea or even consider it
this is championship time....not time to wait another 2 season for a player who we are unsure about....stop being picky with this person can't do this & that, heck all we are giving up is wally, ben,av,pav & maybe west to "sweeten a deal"
Well duh because then our salary situation, which is vital to this teams success in a couple years, will be jacked up. That's a lot of money for someone who could cause chemistry problems.
You act like the best way to a championship is to go for any trade available. You're insane. We got to where we are by patience and making smart moves. Ferry wants the best he can get for certain players, he did that to get Delonte, Ben, and Wally, and he continued by getting Mo. To go out and get Randolph when it can be such a risk is silly.
You say we need a championship now. Do you realize just how confident this team is that the current roster could pull it off? So why make hasty trades now after all this time of building up our team and having a solid financial plan?
Zach Randolph could help us over the top, but could also cause, which in the long run, will hurt us. Fans can see a dynasty coming with the proper moves done by Ferry, he's not gonna pull the trigger before the gun is loaded.
Basically, I'd like to see us go for something better than Zach, or at least safer. But I'd love to have the space in 2010 to get a star next to LeBron, while this confident squad shows us what they got this season and the next (possibly).
