Come on guys...this is a big game. These threads used to be epic. Instead, a deadbeat like me is having to rip this off of Cavs.com. Newbies...step in and earn your stripes! PM a Mod or post on the stickied thread if you'd like to contribute. We wont tear you apart too bad for effort.

Let us use this thread to discuss the evils that are Boston Fans, how we feel about the Earth not being flat...and how our new lineup is going to Butt F**k the rest of the NBA!

I’m going to keep my expectations real LOW.

But I’m hoping that I get pleasant flashes of surprises throughout this game and the next 10 games.
 
With all the new guys I expect us to lose today, but it’s only the first game.
 
Really not expecting a win today, or in a couple of days against OKC for that matter. Lot of new pieces to work in, and these are two good teams.

Just looking for energy and defense. That's it.

When the trades went down, I said I just want us to be able to keep up with the Celtics pace. If we can do that, I feel good about a 7 game series after we have had time to gel.

Can't stand them. Never did.

And with it being Paul Pierce's jersey retirement, perfect time to eviscerate those Bostonian thundercunts.
 
Imagine if in our very first game with all our new pieces, never played together before, if we could beat virtually our biggest competitor in the East. And without Love? Or even just kept it close and competitive for that matter.

It would be such a statement game and get in the Celtics head for the playoffs. And imagine the confidence booster it would be for our team to gain momentum. No pressure if we lose, we are expected to. But if we win or keep it close, it could be huge.
 
Starting Cedi and Hill should up the energy level, but keep JR and TT on short leashes!

Be ready with Hood, Korver, Clarkson, Green, and Nance!
