Cavs @ Boston , 2/11/18 Emergency game thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I think nance matches up decently with steven adams. And our overall new length hustle and rotations should work well!

I still think we add a legit C ... Chandler would be ideal if not Lopez

Tell me again how you think Clarkson isn't good... Maybe he just needed something to play for.
I'm not sure how other fans viewed Clarkson but there is a love/hate relationship between JC and Laker fans. He will have good games and some bad ones. He makes boneheaded plays from time to time that will make you scratch your head. He gets tunnel vision often. He is what he is. A 45% shooter who is a really good spark plug off the bench. 2nd only to Lue Williams for bench players. If you guys needed bench scoring then you definitely picked up the right player.

Holy crap. I didn't expect THIS!!! on their first game.

the Cavs turned their worst trade ever into one of the best clean-up trades ever. George Hill is killin' it.

Easy, Doctor. We are talking about the franchise that traded the rights to James Worthy for Chad Kinch. You just can’t be throwing around the label of “worst trade ever”. The competition is STEEP.

Those teams didn't have a legitimate second all-star who could reliably get 20-10 every night.

They also didn't have the athleticism and length that this team has.

So we should amend Jenkins’ original statement to say:

He seeks the superteam but doesn’t really need one. A legitimate second all-star who could reliably get 20-10 every night, plus a half-dozen useful NBA players with athleticism and length, who can move and shoot are often enough.

Or the shooting for that matter.

It's hard to.measure the talent of Kyrie, but this is one of LeBron's most talented teams and is definitely his most athletic.

Before van Gundy get mugged outside the arena, I hope he gets a chocolate swirly INSIDE it...

I've always considered a chocolate swirly to be an underrated and underutilized form of humiliation.

Like Osama bin Laden: TOTALLY would have given him a chocolate swirly before we dropped him in the Indian Ocean...

So I unfortunately had to take a customer to dinner during the 2nd half. Anywhere I can rematch this masterpiece?

Hadn't realized that Rozier was a NE Ohio guy. Definitely should have demanded that he be part of the trade. From Wikipedia:

Rozier starred at Shaker Heights High School in Shaker Heights, Ohio, graduating in 2012. In his senior year, he averaged 25.6 points, 6.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 4.7 steals, leading Shaker to a 21-3 record and taking them to the regional semifinal in 2012 for the first time since 2002. He was an All-Lake Erie League player for three years and was rated 74th overall in the 2012 ESPNU Top 100 players.
