Cavs @ Celtics Game 1 Round 2

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Gibson is a tremendous defensive liability. I dont know how much better he is from Djones honestly. He gets beat consistantly and teams are starting to figure it out. Dwest had the worst game I have seen him play..Missed layups a pass that went right thru his hands. Sometimes he seems like he just doesnt get it..

Did you see his 2 clunkers in the regular season? I think one he had like 4 turnovers in a 3 minute stetch of the game.

Good Pluto article about the game..

But in the name of Bingo Smith and Mark Price, we're talking 31 percent shooting for the Cavs. We're talking about a team that held Boston stars Paul Pierce and Ray Allen to a combined four points on 2-of-18 shooting in 66 minutes. We're talking about needing only 77 points to win.

We're talking offense, and the Cavs have a day to find some.

You guys making excuses for Lebron last night sound like the Celtics fans who were justifying going to 7th game against a 37-win team.

He played like complete garbage last night. And has Pip said, he was CALLING for high screen pick and roles. Lebron is allowed to deviate from the offensive gameplan if he choses. He just chose to settle.

Mike Brown did not go 2-18, Mike Brown did not commit 10 turnovers, Mike Brown did not get in foul trouble (two of Lebron's fouls were utterly stupid).

Some of you guys are so scared to say anything negative about Lebron....

Seems as though we are the only NBA team in history, with a coach that has absolutely no control, as to how to direct or agree/disagree, with his star player . Mike Brown seems he clearly has had no offensive responsibilities, for his whole career as an assistant coach. You say this has nothing to do with this? If this is completely true, you can't blame LeBron for this.

Though, remember when LeBron said this last year?

When was the part were he appeased LeBron on his suggestion? That was even before Mike Brown had a Eastern title and on his resume, and his contract extension. So you say, that Mike Brown has absolutely no power as to where on the court LeBron is supposed to receive the ball? So you are saying on game 6 of the Wizards series, it was all coach LeBron's doing with that adjustment? You are giving LeBron too much credit to this team, if he is also our complete offensive coach for this whole team, at age 23.

Of course LeBron had a bad as f*ck game, I think we all realize that, but if you opened your mind, and looked the way Boston was tilting on LeBron on their zone like defense, especially in the 2nd half... You'd realize we needed to make adjustments, that ONLY A REAL COACH, could have made, that would have made this game such an easy as hell win, we wouldn't have cared if LeBron blew that easy layup at the end, it wouldn't have mattered... We should have blown their asses out this game.

LeBron's jump shot was way off, and having him set up as the PG of your team's plays, does not get him in best position to score near the basket. Having Delonte take up the ball, and LeBron screens to the ball, then Delonte runs around below the hoop, the same way every time like its scripted, and sets right in the corner outside the 3pt line, essentially letting LeBron take over PG duties, can't always be LeBron improvisation, it's a fu*king play!

Not to say I always agree on their opinions all the time, but I think the TNT post game guys would've spotted that LeBron was directing his whole fate out there, without a chance of coach intervention, like you seem to imply, since they actually played in the NBA, and Barkley, Webber, were star players of their teams, most of their careers, and that they would recognize something like that and would've pointed that out. Didn't seem the case, they blamed Mike Brown as well. As we know, Barkley doesn't hold back when it comes to criticizing a star player, and he has done so on LeBron, a hell of lot, in past years. Didn't seem so this time.

Brian windhorst addressed it, they put joe smith in for offensive purposes and didnt expect the celtics to not take a TO and got burnt by it

Thats understandable, but it's also great coaching by Doc Rivers not to take a timeout to have us set defensively, because I honestly believe things would have been different. Joe Smith isn't bad defensively, but he can't handle KG at all. I would much rather see Z or LeBron down low during that final play, but I guess the C's moved the ball to quickly? Or what? I gotta watch the final play again to really get the big picture.

why is it that LeBron gets no fouls on the offenseive end when the defender has HIS BACK TURNED? this happened game 4 AND last night. Perkins and Songalia TURN there back it F's LBJ up, he misses but no call? WTF

O BTW, LBJ sucked yesterday.

Thats understandable, but it's also great coaching by Doc Rivers
What you said was an oxy moron.

Today the Boston papers were all about how Boston shut down Lebron. Pierce however just had a bad night
