The reason I thought going into this series our best chance at beating Boston would be game two ...the reason being ...Mike Brown. He's always needed a game under his belt in a series because his learning curve is so slow. He can't make adjustments in game, has proven it over and over during every regular season game we've all witnessed.
He pretty much relies on Hank to spoon feed what needs done .... this isn't any newsflash but, Mike Brown isn't developed as a head coach ...we have a team running with a defensive coordinator at the helm, and offensively we rely on Lebron James to handle pretty much all responsibilties and everything flpws from him, his reads, and what the players themselves can figure out on the fly throughout all their games together, and hopefully growing from any experience facotrs that come into play.
Any player looking for answers to their offensive games coming from the coaching staff, are going to be waiting forever ...the answers won't be coming. You learn to play off Lebron and do what he feels ands sees on the court, or you will be left astray.
I think we could add players til the cows come home to surround Lebron with, but, ultimately ...the talents will be wasted within a non-system that exploits only the elementary aspects of a defense, and leaves no alternatives at all in place to go to if plan A fails, or if Lebron isn't on ..
It's sad to see, because Lebron could and should be hitting levels offensively on a personal level, but, he is being stunted by a coach that has no clue ...
I'd love to see this team get Mike Brown out of here, and go to a coach with solid credentials ...this team could surge, and Lebron could reach his potential, which is beyond comprehension ...
It's hard for me to say, but, I'm in just the right mood to say what I truly feel tonight.
