The thing I was most pissed about last night was the missed poetic justice on Green's arm bar. I was hoping he got hurt by trying to hurt someone else. To me, regardless of game outcome, that would have been an amazing end to that series.

Not only does he not get hurt but he also avoids ANOTHER flagrant foul and a suspension, while somehow also getting a foul called on Adams. At this point, it is laughable. The guy isn't even playing basketball anymore and the league is just letting it slide. The sad thing is, it is going to take him actually hurting someone to finally get him off the floor.

What I really don't get is that I still don't hear people say "Draymond Green is a dirty player" anywhere in the media. Some will mention dirty plays or debate intent, but he's not labeled that. Delly on the other hand was called dirty by everyone under the sun for diving for loose balls. It's crazy.

Do you guys see Lue making any starting lineup changes for more defense? When the key to beating GSW is to try to limit the Splash Bros, it may make more sense to start Shumpert or/and Delly.

I doubt it.

The Warriors make shots against both good and bad defense.

The Cavs need offense to win this series IMO, so JR needs to be in that first unit.

They need to makes 3's at a good % and rebound like crazy. Anything else is a bonus.

Maybe Shump and Delly log heavier minutes or you stagger the rotations slightly to get them playing more minutes against Steph and Klay but I wouldn't tinker with the starting lineup.

I think you need to see how the first units works in game 1 and 2 before making any decisions on drastic personnel moves.

The key is just going to be Kyrie. If we get an engaged Kyrie on the defensive end, like last years' game 1, we'll be fine. If we don't, it's likely going to be downhill offense for Golden State.

I really hope not. I think that would be a really bad move. Our formula has been working. The rotations were working well until we changed them against Toronto.

I think the LBJ and bench squad to start the second is going to gash the Warriors. I believe @Heej was the one to point this out, but I completely agree.

Starting Shump would allow GS to have Draymond roaming like they did against OKC with Roberson.

Shump has been that bad offensively. I know his playoff numbers have been better, but he has only attempted 19 3's so way too small of a sample size.

If I'm GSW I'm leaving Shump wide open from 3 ala Roberson. You live with him hitting those shots and adjust if needed. But with how machine like our offense has been if you have the choice between LBJ running the offense and forcing Shump to take shots you do the latter every time.

I don't want Shump hurting our spacing like that when he hasn't even been that good defensively. Klay is going to get his. I'd rather put JR out there who can at least make him sweat on the other end and not affect our spacing.

I still think it would be absolutely brilliant of Lue to just fuck with Golden State by altering our entire starting lineup.

Let's face it, the Warriors' plan is going to be to run Love and Kyrie off the floor. Don't give them that option. The beauty of the Cavs and a clear advantage is our ability to switch up styles and play a fast or slow tempo based on the opponent. Start LeBron and the "grit squad" to completely stifle GSW's offense. Muck up the pace, halt their transition opportunities. This shit WORKED last year, we just lacked the personnel to counter their small lineup and ran out of gas.

Pull LeBron with a few minutes left in the 1st like we've been doing and then run him out there with the bench unit, aka our starters. Switch gears and revert back to our wildly successful, run-and-gun offense that's been working all playoffs.

I want a more informed basketball mind to explain to me why that wouldn't work. What does GSW do to counter that? I think that in order to beat this team something unprecedented needs to be done and swapping lineups MIGHT just work.

Wow. I just caught up reading about 10-12 pages here that have been posted since the GSW won.

I'm blown away by the number of pansy-assed pussies there are who are absolutely terrified of the Warriors. Somebody mentioned Cavs fans having battered wife syndrome, that sounds about right.

THANK GOD that what so many of you think has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with what the ultimate outcome will be. It's too bad so many of you have little or no faith in this team and its players.

The Cavs are as ready as they can possibly be for this series. The Cavs's aren't perfect but they're damn good, better than last year by a lot.

Fuck game 7 stats, I want to sweep these bastards! It can happen. If they manage to win a game or 2 that will just kick us into overdrive, and we will slam the door shut on those guys. FUCK THE WARRIORS!

I look at it this way: Steph, Klay, and Green are a push with Lebron, Kyrie, and K-Love. It then comes down to the role players. Which team has the better ones: the Cavs with Swish, TT, Frye, Delly, RJ, Shump, and Moz or the Warriors with Iggy, Bogut, Livingston, Ezeli, Varejao, Barnes, and Speights? The decision is an easy one for me.

Well yes, he was 70% in games 1, 3, and 4 as they were losses.

Games 2, 5, 6, and 7 though he was 100%.

As far as health going forward, it is tough to prospectively predict. Retrospectively will be easy thankfully. If the Warriors lose AND Curry plays poorly he is hurt. If they win he is healthy.

Good luck arguing these facts

I'm not afraid at all. I want GS. I think we have the better team.

Could make the case that Iggy >>> JR in the finals is what killed us most.

Just got done reading a thread that's on the front page of Reddit regarding Green pulling Adams down by the arm.. while not everyone shares the Cavs fans passionate hatred of Curry, the hate for Green is now universal. The entire basketball world outside of W's "fans" seems to be rooting for the Cavs. It's an odd feeling, but all because of one single dude.

You mean the entire basketball world, outside of Adam Silver, the networks, and their marketing departments.

Which will translate into LeBron getting ass-raped on the way to the basket, with no foul calls, and Steph getting 3 foul shots when someone enters the protective bubble surrounding him, of 10-foot radius.
