Cavs vs Wiztards 12:30pm Saturday Game #1

Even when Cavs got down in the 4th I still had complete confidence that they would pull out the win. Wizards are a soft finesse team with a bunch of phony wannabe tough guys.

Stevenson continues to expose himself as a joke. Once again disappeared in a playoff game.
Arenas really didn't do much other than his 2nd qtr hot streak.

LeBron's 1st qtr was some of the worst basketball he's played as a Cav. Recovered to have a great game.
Z was very solid all game. Kept the Cavs in the game.

West and Gibson also pretty solid and I like having them handle more to get the ball out of LeBron's hands.

Wallace and Varejao not with their best games, especially Wallace. Looked like he was doing some good things but was dominated by Jamison. Coaching staff has to stop Varejao from trying to prove he's a creative offensive player. He's not.

Nice game 1 win. Need to get game 2 on Monday.

Meh: the fact of the matter is none of the Wonder boys at SG such as Wally, Brown, or Sasha are good. We had to hope and pray Boobie would get back to form. Now that it looks like he has we can go with West and Boobie till teams figure out away to get them into the post

Nah i think wally will have an impact, but obviously gibson is our 2nd best clutch player and dude is money in the playoffs. Honestly so is AV .. they both should be gettin 30 +

Umm so are you suggesting we sit West? To get Boobie more minutes with the way West has been playing: we're going to give him SG minutes. Wally and Devin are going to have there minutes reduced.

No im not suggesting sitting west but im also saying that wallys role is extremely important. Joe smith gets abused on d, whereas AV is our best big man defender by far imo

A team who can win pretty decisively when this so called important player can only get 8 points on 10 shots tells you that player is not that big of a deal. If Wally gets hot it will be a nice plus but this team is going to live and die with West and Boobie in the backcourt.

This is what so annoying about wally fans they make the game all about him when we should be celebrating the exploits of guys like West and Boobie in the backcourt and Z inside

Delonte is streaky so you can't depend on big consistancy from him. We need production from the SG spot. We can only go so far with lebron carrying us (ie last year) If we can get production from our 2 guard we can be so much more dangerous. And we didn't win decisively at all it came down to 50 seconds left in the 4th to win this. I know you hate wally, love av and gibson pioneer and I wont change your views but his success is VITAL to our success..

The only reason I hate Wally and am not totally indifferent to him like I am to guys like Brown and Sasha is because posters keep insisting that I'm supposed to believe in some guy who has been at best inconsitent and mediocre. I've always maintained that I base my preference on on court performance and will be more then willing to give Wally a fair shot but I'm not going to sit by and simple swallow bad performances because Wally looks fierce when he does something stupid.

I guess. I like his fierce attitude but performance is what makes a player. I hope he comes up big because he has the scoring ablity that non of our wings possess.. (except lebron)

Guys please stop attacking each other....Someone like Boobie,someone LBJ,I like Wally and no matter...We need to cheer for Cavs team!!!!Not players.....LBJ is our best and then we have Boobie and the rest of role players....Its clear that Wally need to start and to get those shoots....Like we need Varejao and Ben to make their layups....We need everyone to do their job!!!!And thats the only way this team will go to beat Celtics....

Did anyone notice that we actually ran a different play than just give it to Lebron at 35 feet from the basket at the end of the game? Like they had lebron do things off the ball and get passed to. Now, its not much different end result, as lebron is still the key guy, just that I think defenses have a harder time when he gets the ball in a different position.

Did you know theres a 4/5 chance that when you win the first game you go on to win the series? And the percentage increases when its the home team.. just a stat I heard while watching other play off games.
