every single game affects use, like last season when we had the bad start, everyone was like man if we would have started better we would never need to be worry about missing the playoffs by a game or so... ALL 162 games matter just ask the white sox who was so hot but at the end of the season saw the indians still right there behind them, but they won enough games that they did not even need to start there starters aganist use at the end of the season... learn baseball so grill that in your head..

But again, 8 games does not make them a rival. What the Yanks do with their season has nothing to do with us. On the other hand, what the Twins, Sox, Royals and Tigers do with theirs, has everything to do with us. Since they are a divisional opponent.

The Yanks could 110 games and it wouldnt mean jack crap to the Indians, it wouldnt help the Indians, it wouldn't hurt the Indians. Now tell me what a rival team, i.e. the White Sox, happens when they win 110 games.

Maybe that should open up your 12 year old eyes.

Yankees are our "rival" in a sense, simply because they are the opposition. But there is no clear "rivalry" between our two teams. Just because half the people hate the Yankees to the core and the other half love them to death makes it seem blown out of proportion.

We have no rivalry between the Yankees, none at all. Nor with any other team in the MLB, unless we attempt to create one, which is tough. Rivalries are usually born in the postseason, and takes years and years to form.

Whether CC wore a Yankees, BoSox, or Brewers hat, it will incite fans to be pissed off because our player is showing support for another team.

I dont think it shows support. I have all kinds of hats with other teams on them, i dont wear it because of the team. I only have it because of the colors and if it matches outfits I have.

I hate the yanks more than any other team in baseball, but I have a yanks hat. Im not showing support, it was a nice hat and i liked it.

You don't do it, anyone with half a brain knows why you don't do it, and why it SHOULD NOT be done..
