Cedi is playing like a a solid rotational player
He’s in his right role again. I don’t think it’s about pace as much as it is not having to initiate offense. Now he can focus on the basket, which is what he does well.Is it possible he was just playing too slow? He is thriving in a high pace and the faster they play, the better he is. His size is suddenly useful with a big front line.
He's a killer in transition. It was something I always wondered. Why weren't Cedi and Collin a more natural fit with how fast they play?
Can someone post that step back 3. Cedi again with a solid game he needs some love too you can tell he took it personal in that 4th qtr. let’s gooo
Right here I knew we were going to win. Btw without cedi no comeback he started the run in the 4th. What a game. I’m glad you found your niche cedi is crazy how quickly things change if you accept your role and work hard on your game. Keep it up. And thanks Brodie for posting the vid.
Not sure how there's a consensus that we are a complete black hole at the small forward position when Cedi has stepped his game up liker he has. He's developed a very quick release on his outside jumper and when he's seeing it he can be deadly in streaks. He has been more consistent with the outside shot except for one game (was it the Knicks?) where he just couldn't find it.
Cedi has always been a pretty good finisher on breaks and when he attacks the paint but it really seems like he's becoming a master at being able to finish a number of ways through heavy traffic.
Cedi has been working harder on defense like the rest of the squad and he does have the ability to get some blocks on chase-downs and when helping.
He's just developing nicely into a very solid veteran small forward. Not a star but definitely a plus rotation piece. We don't have a black hole at the 3.
