Do Not Sell My Personal Information

So, Flip Murray was a pretty decent pick up. Think he'll want to play again next year for cheap?
I think Flip will want to get paid. (set for life) I believe he has played himself out of our price range. :( I think Ferry knows PG is where we have to bank.

Yeah, we get the win .......but, totally dumbfounded that not once in the 4th quarter and overtime did Mike Brown ever make a move to restrict Felton's ball access, nor try and double the man when we obviously had nobody in a Cavs uniform able to even remotely control him. How a supposed defensive genius like Mike Brown can sit there and watch one man ....one man on a bad team dominate to a degree that we very well should have lost this game, and not once think to make any adjustment to neutralize Felton is just laughable. I mean, I've coached this game for 22 years of my life, into division I basketball and can't understand not doing any form of front screening, or any basic form of ball restriction ....can anyone explain to me what our head coach was thinking about as he watched Felton dismantle our entire team defensively ?

Thanks for the recap. Great game. We won't catch you in the standings, but we may meet you in the first round. I have a feeling that the Bucks v Cavs saga is not over. Not by a long shot. Peace.

MooooYah!!!

I think Jumaine and Damon are defensive twins separated at birth.

Moo

Probably thinking, "Dammit... my guards are slow" or "Wow, I never thought I'd miss Mike Wilks" :chuckles:

Give it up, the Ducks can't carry our jocks..QUACK!

Mike Willks would have shut down Felton like he did TJ Ford :/ but he woulda never dropped two treys to ice the game. :)

Wine and Gold makes some great points. I'm a Heel fan, but I can't remember a game where Felton looked as sick as he did tonight. I don't have the Xs and Os background. Is it personnel? Or is it strategy...

Doubling Felton would have left someone else open, and maybe Brown didn't want to bank on his team making rotations in the clutch. But c'mon no one else was hitting a thing, and you'd rather have anyone else on that court taking an open J instead of Felton taking it to the hole on (insert Cav guard name here)

Most of Felton's damage came when he stepped outside the offense and just drove to the hole or pulled up. So no it wasn't Bickerstaff's strategy IMO. He just had that cocky "I'm unstoppable" look in his eyes, like he was tired of losing and just wanted to take over.

Why is there a thumbsdown on this thread?

What option was in play that would have been worse than Felton getting an easy layup or two frebies at the line every time down the court ? The decision is obvious, force the ball out of his hands and make one of the players standing around watching the Ray Felton show, that didn't want any part of taking a clutch shot ....TAKE THE SHOTS !!

I'm sorry, I'm pi$$ed off ...This is an EASY COACHING DECISION ..one that was laid out for all to see and he NEVER ONCE EVEN TRIED ANYTHING.

Just horrific in-game coaching ...or lack of coaching is the better terminology.

It's tough to win any game, especially playoff games when your coach isn't capable of making adjustments necassary to win games. I mean in a playoff series all the players are completley gameplanned ....it's all game management and adjustments come playoff time, and if Mike Brown is still at this level of development after 66 games ....we're gonna get steamrolled by any competantly run team in the playoffs. The opposition will simply coach circles around this guy ...

I waited til now to really make any real assessment on the guy, but, this game tonight was a HUGE RED FLAG for me.

I can't feel too good about this win and I wouldn't think the Cavs would either.

It's pretty sad to have to go to OT on your homecourt to beat the worst team in the league. Especially when that team is missing Okafor, Wallace, Knight, Ely and May. That's 3 starters and 5 of the Bobcats top 8 players.

I think this game would be totally different if Bernie Bickerstaff was coaching the Cavs and Mike Brown was coaching the Bobcats. It would have been a 20 point win for the Cavs if this was the case.
It sure would be nice if the Cavs had a coach who could prepare his team to play and know how to use the talent he has. Has there been a game this season where Brown outcoached the opposition coach?

I figured LeBron would finally have a lighter night and not have to play more than 38 minutes. He ended up playing 50.

Wine and Gold did make very good points. I hope the front office and ownership is looking at the same things.
