Jackson Chourio has now officially signed an 8 year $ 80 MM (guaranteed; plus two additional option years with unknown dollar value) contract to play for the Brewers. He'll turn 20 in March of 2024. If both options are picked up, he'll be 29 when he becomes a free agent.. Just about when a team like the Brewers are looking to off load a guy who's cost is exceeding his performance.. His little brother.. is a better player, imho..

Edit.. he may or may not be the opening day starter for the Brewers in 2024...

Single biggest difference: Raines OPS+ of 123 to Kenny's 107. Both are borderline IMO; both had some nice prime years and then built their case on longevity. Surprised too that Kenny is even within 40 HRs of Raines.
