Cleveland Browns 2019 season predictions

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Nothing has changed from my 10-6 prediction which I may or may not have made on here. Really not much has changed with my outlook.

They’re a good team that got bitchslapped by a good team.

They have an excellent QB and a bunch of talent on offense everywhere except on the line. They also have talent everywhere on defense except linebacker, with one exception (Scho).

Penalties will be an outlier and they’ll be fine. I think they can scheme around that line, assuming they arent starting every possession at 1st and 20. Jets game will probably be nervewracking but I think they’ll win it.

Yeah, but what about building a "lead-pad"?

Oh God, is the sky falling?

4-12. Baker takes a major step back. Freddie shows the lack of experience. Myles is exposed for having only two moves and sets the record of jumping offsides. OBJ gets hurt. Even more of Dorsey’s draft picks bust. Haslam cleans house yet again, showing he’s still an awful owner.
Whoops.

13-3

Team lays waste to the AFC. Defense better than advertised. Team loses in AFC Championship after Baker runs out of victory celebration ideas; Dorsey hires advertising firm in offseason to ensure issue doesnt repeat itself.
Nailed it.

I think I temporarily forgot this was the Browns.

I don't think 9-7 or 10-6 and losing in the first round of the playoffs is pessimistic. We have a dynamic team, but I young team. I think that is realistic. Dorsey made sure to add the right pieces to this team. The Browns are not built for one season, they are built for now, but really more the future. This team will get better, this team will improve, and this team will have a Super Bowl roster in the next couple of years. But for this season, getting into the playoffs would be success.

So for this season 11-5 or 12-4 are very optimistic goals, not impossible at all with this team, but optimistic for sure. Pessimistic would be not 9-7, but 6-10 or something like that. And the only way that happens if our starting QB gets hurt. (don't want to jinx it and say his name)

So year I am looking forward to this season for sure..

So I guess I jinxed it, thought we would need Baker to get hurt to go 6-10, not really bad coaching, lol

I really thought 9-7 or 8-8 at worst....oops.

Not so far off buttman.

Thought 9-7 would be a good step for this team and 11-5 would be the "if everything goes right" record.

If we can't get this game vs the Jets this could turn into a 6-10 type season. In the six game stretch of Rams, Ravens, 49ers, Seahawks, Patriots, and Broncos, the 49ers games could wind up being the only game we're actually favored to win and that game is in SF.

Really need this Jets game to gain some confidence for the upcoming stretch.

Thought I had a pre-season prediction, but apparently only an "after the first game" prediction. Unfortunately was correct, even with the Jets win.

11-5

AFC North Champs

Lose in AFC Championship Game to Pats. Beat Texans and Chargers to get there.

Why laugh @Lord Mar ?

We finished the season 9-7 yet again for the 4th year in a row. It's time we see some progress and finish with 10 next year. So, 9-7 in 2020, again

Actually, I legitimately thought we were going to win 9 or 10 this year. Truly thought we had turned the corner. Didn’t post it here but man I was convinced.

won’t ever be getting fooled again.
