Why are people talking about Hunt’s ‘sweet deal’ as a reason to not sign Chubb? It’s not as if Hunt is signed for the next five years. His deal is only one year longer than Chubb’s.

Unless we’re re-signing Hunt to another contract following his current one, we’ll likely be left spending a relatively high draft pick on an RB in the next year or two that will eventually take Hunt’s place.

To be honest, if we decide that we don’t want to pay Chubb, we should probably trade him this offseason to the highest bidder while his value is still high and we aren’t desperate to move him because we’re in a contract dispute. I feel like someone would offer at least a 1st for Chubb, or perhaps an impact player for the defense.

Our playoff hopes will hang in the balance on Sunday. If we lose it's over.

That’s not entirely factual.

Team can survive one loss to the Jets/Eagles/Giants, as long as they win one from Baltimore/Steelers/Titans.

Wait...

Living in Philly and married to an Eagles fan I was looking forward to the Sackmeister vs the guy who’s been sacked the most. Myles was going to be lining up against 38 year old Jason Peters.

The Eagles are in a very bad mood after a humiliating performance against the Giants.

Browns just need to run the ball all day long.

Wait...

Also the earliest that Myles can return would be next Saturday. So he's going to miss a whole weak of practice after being ill and we're going to be on the road playing against a lowly Jags team with a HC who's coaching for his job. Myles might not play that game either.

Deleted post. 2 For the Brew already covered it.

Yeah...I think that ship has sailed.

I do too but he's still going to be coaching desperate with a team playing like they have nothing to lose. Pressure will be on us.
