His attitude and general love of football, and this team (or at least the character he puts out publicly) has been a nice surprise.

I'm super excited to have him back healthy. I remember leading up to the draft, I expected him to be taken somewhere in the second round, and had no problem taking him there.

I remember being upset when we took Takitaki, who I still think is a bust, over him.

So excited we got him where we did. He should help cover the middle of the field, where Baltimore destroyed us.

A healthy combo of Wilson and Delpit will be really nice to have next year.

I freaking love Mack. Glad to see him out there. If we find a way to add an ILB like Dylan Moses in the draft (along with improvement and getting healthy from within) our defense will be pretty awesome.

Cover Johnson is back!

My goodness I feel like this will be such a huge upgrade over Tavierre Thomas. SOMEONE has to pick off Dwayne Haskins this Sunday.

With Greedy and Johnson back that gives us 4 solid to probowl level corners for nickel and dime packages too. Keeps 2 corners off the field who probably should only be playing in emergencies.

Holy shit he is becoming my favorite player. He might be an average linebacker, but he just gets it. He gets how lucky he is to be a pro athlete, but he is an incredible teammate and understands the passion of Browns fan.

Mack’s strength is coverage so having him back is absolutely huge. Having Johnson back is even bigger. Thomas was targeted 10 times against cinci. They completed 9 of 10 and the incomplete was a drop. He is absolutely terrible. I wouldn’t mind having greedy and Ward on the outside with Johnson in the slot while having money Mitch play some coverage safety.
