Cleveland Browns 2022 Regular Season

Do Not Sell My Personal Information

Can @PIP confirm live from downtown

They've had him on a light pole banner across the street from the stadium since they traded for him. Jacoby is right outside the stadium. I've noticed every time I take my kids to the science center...

For those that still think there is a playoff chance, here is how I’d rank the remaining games.

1. At Cincy is probably the toughest. I know they’ve never lost to Burrow, but it is only a matter of time before that changes.

2. Ravens are at home or I would rank them as the toughest.

3. At Pittsburgh is next. This isn’t a vintage team. But, if the Browns are still in the hunt winning there will be a tough game.

4. The Commanders in DC are probably next. Who knows where their heads will be by the time this rolls around?

5. Saints will be a game the Browns should win at home.

6. Houston is terrible and should be a win this coming week.

Truthfully, expect them to go 3-3 or maybe 4-2 to finish this season. They don’t put together enough solid performances on both sides of the ball for me to be more optimistic.

This worries me.

I mean it is what it is.

For better or worse the Browns can't really afford to spend 4-5M on a backup QB in 2023. That money needs to go towards other positions that are actually going to play a lot like DT, LB, S, etc.

If Watson were to get hurt for a significant amount of time next year, the season is pretty much shot regardless. Just gotta roll the dice and hope that doesn't happen.

The Browns are much higher on Mond than people realize.

I'd bet money he is the backup QB next year.
Yes.... yes...
I think the top 5 are pretty solidly Lawrence, Wilson, Fields, Lance, Jones... but outside of that, I have Kellen Mond head-and-shoulders above everyone else as the only guy with starting, franchise-QB upside. I'd put Jamie Newman next as the best developmental QB prospect.

I just don't see it with Mills.

Personally, I'm really looking forward to the game threads.

Whenever the Browns don't score, it's going to be fun.

If we passed the ball, people are going to complain that we have Nick Chubb, the best RB in football so WHY DON'T WE USE HIM!?

If we ran the ball, people are going to complain that we traded for Deshaun Watson, paid him a quarter of a billion dollars guaranteed, so WHY DON'T WE USE HIM!?

:chuckle:
I'm thinking it should go a little differently. Like the Three Stooges routine where Moe hits Curly in the belly, Curly covers up his belly, Moe hits Curly in the face... lather-rinse-repeat.

I hope Stefanski has defenses so crossed up that they don't know what to even try to take away. Quite frankly I see no reason why this should not happen.

I know off topic, I agree with your statement, but never thought of eat dick specifically as homophobic.

If we were friends in real life and I told one of our straight friends in our friends group to jokingly eat dick after he made fun of me (i am the same in real life, so I would probably deserve being made fun of, lol)...would you be offended i said eat dick to him?

Its really not a common thing for me to say by any means, but offending people isnt my thing either.
How about, "Eat a bag of dicks"? Would that be offensive?

Does anyone have the top 25 under 25 ranked on ESPN?

Or at least if any Browns players were ranked or made honorable mention?

I believe there's reason for optimism. Maybe not this season, but certainly beyond. the Watson circus notwithstanding, I think in the years following we'll see more of the Nick Chubb "honor to wear the orange helmet" attitude on this team than not. Nowhere near Cavs/Guards vibes as of late, but for the Expansion Browns? Very good. Just need to get the wins up.

I agree with you here. "Eat dick" in this context might as well be "eat doo doo". Even though it involves genitals, sex is like the last thing I think about when I hear someone say that.

Jedrick Wills got honorable mention. That was it.

The Browns best players - Watson, Chubb, Garrett, Njoku, Bitonio, Cooper, Teller - are all 25 or older at this point.

How many WRs are on the list? I'd imagine a good chunk.
