Cleveland Browns 2022 Regular Season

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Browns have the best special teams and defense in the NFL. Offense will come around. Brows a lock for AFC championship game at a minimum!
If we can get 3 non-offensive TDs per week I like our chances. Woods is a genius. Ward cares again. Best WR duo. Best RB duo.
MG is going to end Burrow on Sunday. I heard Burrow didn’t sleep last night just thinking about it.
Once Cinci gets rekt, the league will be on RED ALERT. ORANGE ALERT.
I think you are on to something. Make 3 non offensive touchdowns the bare minimum requirement going forward for Woods and Priefer to be even be considered for retention. Anything short of that means automatic termination.

Why can’t the Steelers just lose? I just want to finish ahead of them in the division for once in my life.
Because they have always been well coached and managed. It’s annoying.

Does anyone have the offensive line grades for this past Sunday? They have me somewhat concerned.

Wills: 41.1 OVR, 47.4 RUN, 23.1 PASS
Bitonio: 83.9 OVR, 77.8 RUN, 86.4 PASS
Froholdt: 63.9 OVR, 65.7 RUN, 44.7 PASS
Teller: 48.8 OVR, 52.0 RUN, 68.8 PASS
Conklin 69.0 OVR, 65.5 RUN, 72.3 PASS

Wills' 2nd worst game of 12 played
Bitonio's 4th best game of 12 played
Froholdt's best game at C, but still worse than 8 of Pocic's 9 games
Teller's 2nd worst game of 10 played
Conklin's 3rd best game of 10 played

The main takeaways...

-The drop off from Pocic (83.0 OVR) to Froholdt (58.7 OVR at C) has been brutal. Froholdt (67.8 OVR) was much better filling in for Teller at RG than he's been at center.

-Speaking of Teller, he's been AWFUL since he got hurt. 77.3 OVR pre-injury, 54.4 OVR post-injury

The last 3-4 weeks the Browns have just gotten awful snaps from their C and their RG which is really hurting everything. It certainly didn't help that Wills had a massive stinker on Sunday on top of that on Sunday.

The grade drop at C definitely passes the eye test. At this point I doubt I doubt Nick Harris ever becomes an above average starter and frankly I hope he’s more focused on just walking normally for the rest of his life. I would have to think C is a priority this off-season in some capacity; much more confident in Teller returning to form as he has a record of good performance.

Provided he's not asking for an unreasonable contract - and I'm not sure 9 good games is going to get him paid, especially since he won't be coached by Callahan and flanked by two pro bowl guards at his next stop - it feels like just signing Pocic to a new contract is the best solution.

I think Nick Harris is done as a contributor at this level.

He proved that he isn't strong enough to handle NFL defensive linemen. A lower body injury isn't going to help that.

The 2 lineman I noticed most on Sunday were froholdt getting murdered in the run game and Wills getting dad dicked in the pass game

Surprised froholdt graded as highly as he did on run game. Seemed like every play he was 2 yards in the backfield off the snap

And I’m pretty glad next year is likely Wills’ last as a brown

Seems like every other pass down Wills is already trying to turn and reach to derail the end’s path that he already allowed. I’ll catch some shit for this but it’s LJ Shelton-esque at times. Given Callaghan’s pedigree and quality as a coach, Wills’ lack of motivation and effort look to be the issue and I’m over that shit if it’s the case - but it looks obvious to me.
