As long as people follow coach's initial point about just giving your own hot takes rather than criticizing others, it should last. In this thread, we can all let our inner loudmouth drunk come out. I think it's a blast just to come up with some real steamers and let them fly.

Well I guess it's Julio Franco's birthday today via Facebook...

We need to bring him in as a player-coach for these young hitters to learn from.... He would do better than Bauers did at least...

Out of the Park (OOTP) is a better baseball simulator than The Show....

I agree with your assessment of the minor league teams in MLB the Show... They really didn't modify anything and I have never been able to get Jones, Freeman etc without editing them to get them to be legit big league players. It didn't make any sense to me at all...

OOTP is a much better game when it comes to actual like scouting and development since they at least get solid scouting reports on the guys...

More a fan of strat-o-matic myself... especially a perpetual league I was in with others from '92 thru '00.

Unfortunately when that league folded I stopped playing.. & turned my focus to the minor leagues of CLE..

I really think we should just send down Gimenez and let Chang play everyday! He's been killing the ball while Gimenez has only been a platoon guy....
