Looking through the comments it’s riddled with yinzer fans relishing in our loss and shit talking

And people say we aren’t a rival to them lol. That type of hate doesn’t come from 1 game.

Can’t wait until next year
Dude, the Steelers fans I know personally and from what I see online won’t shut up about the Browns. We are in their heads big time.

Imagine living in Pittsburgh. I used to always get the fake pity stuff from Steelers fans like "oh I'm so sorry you're a Browns fan. I wish they were good again because I miss the rivalry!"

Those chumps got their wish and don't seem to be to happy about it.

Losing that game like they did was very disappointing given how winnable it was. But, I got over it in just minutes. What this team accomplished this season was far greater than anyone could have expected. Everything about this season was a success.

After how well Berry & co addressed the holes on offense in 2020, I am seriously giddy to see how they do the same for the defense in 2021. With the cap space & draft picks we have, there's no reason this defense can't see an improvement similar to what we saw from the offense this season.

And if/when that happens? We are looking at a legitimate Super Bowl contender for the foreseeable future. Just super exciting to think about. I cannot wait for the offseason to start.

But, I don't want to take the 2020 Browns for granted. This was the team that changed everything. And years down the line when we look back on this era of Browns football, they will be remembered as such. Special group with this organization right now. And this is just the beginning; it will only get better from here.

I watching the first quarter of the first playoff game.

I voted very good but this season was excellent upon further review.

We’ve been eating shit from the Steelers for fifty years. The once-proud Browns franchise had been to the NFL Championship game 11 times in our first 20 years in the NFL PLUS four straight championships in the AAFC before then including a perfect season. I don’t care if the NFL doesn’t count the AAFC - frankly the Browns in those years had the best attendance, the best coach, the best team and the best QB ever (perfect 10 of 10 years Otto went the the Championship game, winning 7, plus Graham was on a champion pro BB team). When we entered the NFL we crushed the two-time defending NFL champion Eagles on opening night, and my man Lou the Toe kicked the winning points in the 1950 Championship to beat the Rams (who also won a championship in Cleveland).

Our heritage has been DENIED because nobody counts the pre Super Bowl years (as if Jim Brown doesn’t matter). Meanwhile the upstart Yinzers, who sucked for close to forty years, got good when we went downhill in the seventies. We’ve had the hear this “little brother” shit all this time - Yinzers, we STILL have more championships than you do and we won ours before you did anything.

Then that asshole Modell rips our Browns out of Cleveland. We’ve struggled to recover since 1995. After two and a half decades of frustration, pain and sadness we assemble talent and a really good young coach - but so many things went wrong and we were struggling to make the playoffs. We finally made it - although Pittsburgh wanted us because they thought we’d be an easy out.

Then we lose a bunch of players and coaches to COVID, including Stefanski. No training camp for a rookie head coach and no first playoff game for him either. We appeared to be doomed going into a city where we’ve lost 17 straight (we also had a similar streak at Three Rivers).

Then we proceeded to wreck Heinz Field, go up 28-0, humiliate them, beat them, intercept that asshole four times, shock the entire football world, and make Ben cry. In fact the Steelers and their idiot fans are still bawling. They never expected the Browns to come in to their city and their house and whip them senseless (not that they weren’t 87% there already).

That team was 11-0 and we crushed their high hopes and high expectations completely. As bad as the past 20 years have been and as many disappointments as we’ve had in the past 50 years did we EVER have a season where we started so well and just crashed and burned like that? Have we EVER had a moment in Browns history when we’ve come from so far down to triumph over those black and gold fucks?

I don’t care if we go 19-0 next season and win every game by 21. The way we overcame all odds to utterly destroy Pittsburgh after their 11-0 start was glorious.

I do want to be fair though and magnanimous in victory. I saw that Bills Mafia are making donations to Lamar’s favorite charity. Class move that Browns fans should emulate. I’m thinking about donating to a sexual assault victims charity in Pittsburgh in dishonor of you know who.

I hate the Steelers. We got some serious payback.

Great season!

I heard to get ready for next season, the Browns have already place Greedy on the IR, is this true?

I think he would've played against the Bills had they won. He definitely would've played in the Superbowl. lol

Yes the season ended with woulda, coulda, shoulda....

But think about it. We ended a season being PROUD of the Browns. No head coach search, no GM search, no qb search...

Season was a MASSIVE W.

I demand to know why the title of this thread has not been changed to "Congratulations, Browns! Very Good (although not excellent) Season!!!" You could even argue that it should end with 1 or 2 exclamation points, instead of 3. That's what the Patriots would've done.
