Jigo, James...save this bullshit for OT EAYOR, at least then it will give me a laugh, and not piss me off... the insensitivity y'all are showing...

just voicing my opinion on the matter. i said it was tragic, but could have been avoided.

I didn't see any rules posted that state that my sensitivity is required in any of my posts outside EAYOR.

I guess people were wrong to assume that members would have respect.

Very said day for everyone. Australia loses a unique man, and the world loses an amazing human being. His "ocre Australiana" ways made me cringe when he become so big overseas, but at the end of the day, we were all proud to have him as our own. Hopefully his legacy will continue, albeit never with the same style.

R.I.P Steve.

well said mate...he was certainly over the top, but thats what he was like 24/7 to his friends...i feel for his family, esp his 2 kids. that sucks ass.

he had great passion for his issues he felt strong about and we will all miss him.

It would be wrong to assume that I would have respect.

As for the others...

It's fair to assume that they would.

How do you know his financial situation James? Just cause he has a TV show doesnt mean jack.

He probably didnt even ask for a large contract to begin with. He was doing what he loved and it wasnt like he was doing anything dangerous, he was performing something people do everyday.

Your ignorance is very blinding at times. Karma is a bitch, you come on here and ask for sympathy for your fake gang banging friends and then bash a man for diving in water. Think about that.

The fact is, the more money he made, the more money he pumped into his zoo that helped endangered animals, and other charities. He's not the type of character that would have his house featured on Cribs.

And Jigo_oi, your "I dont give a **** about anyone" attitude is really cool. Impresses all the kiddies.

Interesting... well what do you respect then???

Anyways,Id say most people respect what the Crocodile Hunter did for the world of animals, exposing them to the average person in a passionate way. He's da man, i cant think of an animal guy that was better.

for those that havent read the truth about string-rays is this was a total fluke accident. yes, there is irony that it was one of the more gentle animals that got steve, but that is life. The last time a death from a sting ray was reported was 1945. To put it into perspective, cleveland has had 5 world championships since then. This was a rare and tragic death. He was filming a kid show, and was not doing anything dangerous in any way. Walking down the street is more dangerous. Just thought i needed to clear some things up about how freakishly rare this actually is. Litteraly a house cat is more dangerous than a sting-ray.

watching CNN now is very moving about Steve...its hitting home now...what steve did for his cause is like Lebron winning 10 championships...

the guy was very humble and had a passion for life....

What really pisses me off about this whole thing is how the media is focusing on him holding his kid by the croc. Thats all i see on the news and on websites are clips of him with his child by the croc. Yesterday FOX news did a thing on him defending himself for that but they still talk about just that. All that he has done in bringing awareness to all types of animals and they want to focus on him with his child and the croc.:thumbdown

Damn the media.

yea, thats innapropriate, and really beside the fact, the media has done a piss poor job covering many new storys (many UN-Worthy). he did alot and will be someone i remeber when i was growing up.

Damn thats a pretty smart little girl, she seemed to handle it pretty maturely. She knew he wasn't being selfish he was helping a lot of people and a lot of animals. Very sad though.

Yeah, really. She couldn't of done much better. For most people it's very difficult to speak in public, let alone when A) you're just a little girl, B) it's a relatively large crowd, and most importantly C) you're talking about the life of your recently deceased father! Pretty impressive.
